SLNT – Faraday Sleeves

I met SLNT at SOFIC where they were exhibiting in the new products pavilion.

SLNT manufactures bags with a particular emphasis on Faraday bags of various sizes. A Faraday bag works as a portable Faraday cage, blocking electronic emissions both into and out of your device including Cellular, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, RFID, NFC, EMR, EMP, and EMF.

Of both personal and professional interest are the Faraday Sleeves which are sized to accommodate key fobs, phones/End User Devices, tablets, and laptops. There are even versions that not only block emissions, but also integrate PacSafe anti-theft technology to prevent a would-be thief from cutting open the bag.

Tracer Tactical – Appendix Holster Mounting Panel

Tracer Tactical has introduced the Appendix Holster Mounting Panel based on a concept from idea came to them from Eric Foss of Howitzer Clothing.

It consists of a Tegris panel with Squadron material that is hook Velcro backed for mounting inside a pack or concealed carry bag.

It accommodates an appendix holster which provides protection and keeps the firearm stored in a safe, easy to draw manner. Holes on the edges allow for shock-cording to backpack organization panels, etc.

Ideal for those who carry concealed and want an option to remove the entire appendix holster and store in a bag when desired.

These will be made to order until they can build up some inventory.

The collection consists of 3 different size rifle cases (18”, 36”, 42”), 2 pistol pouches (single and double) and 2 scabbard (pistol and rifle).

Both the rifle and pistol cases are more overt designs, but the scabbards are a bit more discreet for your weapon transport needs.

5.11 Announces New Load Bearing Products for Fall 2022

LV6 Waist Pack 2.0

The LV6 Waist Pack 2.0 ($42) received an updated quick-release S/R buckle waist strap and new Duraflex® buckles that are easier to operate, especially when wearing gloves. A great grab-and-go solution that can be worn around the waist or across the body, it features interior pockets and panels, a hidden slip compartment, side compression straps and a rear mesh pocket. Additionally, this waist pack can be attached to the 5.11 LV18 Backpack 2.0 when more carrying power is needed.

LV10 Sling Pack 2.0

Similar updates were made to the Duraflex® buckles of the LV10 Sling Pack 2.0 ($115) to allow easier access to gear. Additional redesign features include a new removable holster retention strap, a securing strap in the tablet sleeve, and a quick-release CAM buckle to the main crossbody strap.

LV18 Backpack 2.0

To round out the LV Collection of packs, the LV18 Backpack 2.0 ($135) also received updates with internal organization and new Duraflex® buckles. Inside the ambidextrous side entry CCW compartment, the loop area has been increased and a removable holster retention strap has been added. The height of the padded laptop sleeve has been extended and a security strap added to keep electronics secure. A second set of webbing loops offer improved attachment for the LV6 Waist Pack 2.0 when extra cargo space is needed. Additional features include side compression straps, a padded back panel with a Flex cuff channel, and quick-release shoulder straps with a removable sternum strap.
