With its robust durability, high-tech fabrication and superior grip in varied terrain, the original Fugitive GTX has already seen a lot of popularity amongst military personnel, which comes as no surprise. Made from a combination of 1.6-1.8mm water-resistant suede and high tenacity nylon, with a GORE-TEX performance comfort lining and an Asolo rubber outsole, the original model also features a high-tenacity nylon upper and a rubber toe cap for added comfort and protection.

The new custom-made Fugitive Tactical GTX features all of the performance and durability of the original model whilst incorporating some key enhancements. The primary differences are a new tactical colourway and an alternative lacing system for safer use with climbing ropes for military personnel. Technical key features of this model also include:

– Wider fit
– Outsole with self-cleaning lugs
– Fully laced eyelets all the way up
– Duo Asoflex technology – Two elements are bonded together to improve comfort and fit, the first element is constructed of a stiff material to provide the structure, and the second element is constructed of a softer material for shock absorption.

These carefully considered enhancements position the custom Fugitive GTX as a brilliant choice for military customers. Plumb Precision Announces the Submission of the P3-M110 PGS into PEO Soldier’s xTechSoldier Lethality Program

Plumb Precision Products is excited to announce its submission into the xTechSolider Lethality Precision Grenadier System.

The Plumb Precision M110 Precision Grenadier System (P3-M110 PGS) is a SDVOSB effort for a M110 rifle-based system. The P3 M110-PGS receivers are M110 pattern, re-designed to accept 17.5mm Ammunition. This developmental ammunition is a 17.5mm projectile fired from 12-gauge shotgun sized cases.

P3-M110 PGS Ammunition is low- or high-pressure rated. The Counter-Defilade ammunition is pre-programmed time of flight detonating (based on range) or point detonating. P3 will include Training, CQB/SUB-T, Breaching, Anti-Armor (SABOT/HEAT types), and Counter UAS (Flechette / EM discharge) ammunition types.

The P3-M110 PGS uses SR25 type magazines and has M4 type ambidextrous controls. The P3 M110-PGS is 8 lbs. empty (target of 11.5 lbs. loaded). The P3-M110 PGS is less than 34” long (target 28” long with suppressor).

The P3-M110 PGS has a Variable Power Direct View Optic. The DVO has a patented self-ranging etched reticle. It is ammo BDC matched including blast radius.

Targeting information is shown via Heads-Up Display with aiming reference points and numerical data. The targeting system has patent pending wind reading and sound locating (counter UAS) features. This data is transmitted via a patented encrypted network.

Introducing The S.O.Tech Tactical Evacuation Pack

The Tactical Evacuation Pack is a lightweight compressible bag that zips into a small pack that mounts to the belt or upper rear plate carrier and unzips to expose a full size backpack to quickly accept raid evidence or high value items of a wounded soldier for air evacuation.

The durable but ultralight nylon zippered backpack accepts a plate carrier and gun belt with pouches and a helmet with radios to secure a wounded soldier’s high value items. It can also accept laptops, files and media during sensitive site exploitation. At 17” high x 14” wide x 9 “ depth this a substantially sized pack. The pack is also ideal to function in escape and evasion foraging bag in SERE mode. Zippered closure provides positive control of contents and webbing shoulder straps and pull handle facilitate control during movement.

When closed, the small rectangular pouch presents a zippered pouch to hold an optional evacuation marking, lighting and tagging kit as well as a patients face mask. This can be worn on a belt using the Flex Tab MOLLE compatible loops forming a belt pouch that expands into a pack. However, the intended mounting places the closed pack at the top of the rear plate carrier attaching via the Flex Tab MOLLE system or the top of a pack. The small pouch is accessible while main pack is zippered closed.

When unzipped the expanded pack can be worn while MOLLE mounted to the plate carrier, or it can be quickly unfastened and worn like a regular pack using the shoulder straps. Note that when the pouch is kept attached to the vest, the backpack straps can stay inside the pack, or they can pull the body of the pack forward by pulling the shoulder straps onto the shoulders. So when carrying the pack independently, the weight is shared between the shoulders and the point of MOLLE fastening to the upper rear plate carrier. When mounted on the tope of a pack, it can be expanded to carry light loads for a short distance (such as bandages and dressings). Made of 200 denier Cordura nylon in OCP camouflage but also available in tan and black.

OKSI Awarded USSOCOM Contract for 81mm Mortar Precision Guidance Kit

LOS ANGELES, July 11, 2023 — OKSI has been awarded a $2 million follow-on contract from USSOCOM to finalize their Precision Guidance Kit (PGK) for the 81mm mortar round. The screw on 81mm PGK will allow warfighters to precisely guide mortars onto the desired impact point or predesignated target. The mortar’s guidance system is able to find, fix, and lock onto target then uses pop-out control surfaces to steer the mortar down onto the tracked target. This contract aims at taking an area weapon known to be inaccurate and convert it to a precision munition that will provide first round effects.

The PKG provides a precision strike capability that is in the field commander’s back pocket,” says Chris HolmesParker, CEO, OKSI. “USSOCOM is a respected partner of ours and we are grateful to be working with them on numerous efforts. This award shows the trust and faith they have in the OKSI team to deliver a solution that needs to be extremely accurate and reliable when lives are on the line.”

OKSI’s PGK leverages detection and tracking algorithms developed in-house to transform a munition that previously had no guidance at all. This is a prime example of integrating new technologies into a weapon system that is organic to the ground unit to enhance their capabilities in the field. Previously, SOF units would have to wait on close-air-support for precision munition effects on target. Having the 81mm PGK on hand will significantly reduce the time it takes for soldiers to affect the enemy.
