Raven Concealment Systems Launches 2 New VanGuard 2 Models for SIG P320 Pistols

Raven Concealment Systems announced today the release of two new models of their popular minimalist holster, the VanGuard 2 for use with the SIG MHS and P320 X-Carry .

The first new model fits both models of the Modular Handgun System, the M17 and M18. This model features a two-tone color scheme, with a black overhook and modular claw, which contrasts nicely with the trigger guard cover that is color-matched to the Coyote Tan frame of the M17/M18 family. This project was the result of close collaboration between the design teams at both SIG SAUER and Raven Concealment Systems. This collaboration allowed RCS to provide support for the entire diverse family of P320 pistol variants with just two variants of VG2.

Combined with launching these two new VG2s, RCS is also debuting their innovative new modular claw for the VG2 product family. This new claw is much more streamlined than its predecessor, and can be configured for both left- and right-hand as well as offering two different options for ride-height.

The collaboration between SIG and RCS extends even to the release of the new products, as Sig is participating front-and-center in the retail launch of these concealed-carry holsters by being the first to offer the VG2 Advanced Kits (which include the new modular claw) for sale on their new e-commerce site. Anarchy Outdoors Introduces Performance Upgrades For The Savage 10/110 And Axis Series Rifles

North Logan, UT- Anarchy Outdoors, a leading industry innovator and supplier of precision rifle components and other high-performance firearm accessories, has introduced two major upgrades for the Savage 10/110 and Axis series rifles, a Threaded Bolt Handle and a Picatinny Scope Base with Bubble Level. The Savage 10/110 and Axis platforms are renown as accurate and affordable rifles. Their design makes it easy for the user to replace or upgrade components to improve ergonomics and performance. These two new products from Anarchy Outdoors are easy to install and make these Savage rifles easier to shoot and more accurate at long range.

Properly fitting the rifle to the shooter is critical to maximize the accuracy and functionality of any rifle system. The Threaded Bolt Handle is more ergonomic than the factory handle. It is swept back further and places the bolt knob is a position that makes it easier and faster to work the action. The end of the Threaded Bolt Handle also has 5/16”-24TPI threads. This allows a significant degree of customization with any of the Anarchy Outdoors aftermarket bolt knobs with the same threads. Precision machined from 17-4 stainless steel and now available in a satin or black nitride finish, the Threaded Bolt Handles for the Savage 10/110 and Axis have an MSRP of $59.99.

The Anarchy Outdoors Picatinny scope base for the Savage 10/110 and Axis rifles has an integral bubble level that is machined into the back of the rail. This lets the shooter quickly and easily see if their rifle is level before taking a shot. Keeping the rifle level is critical to precision shooting at long range. The base also features a forward slope in either 20MOA or 30MOA. This maximizes the amount of useable elevation adjustment in a riflescope. These new scope bases are precision machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and hardcoat anodized matted black and include the mounting hardware. Available for short action receivers, the new Picatinny Scope Base with Bubble Level has an MSRP of $79.99.

SHOT Show 2021 Goes Virtual

The National Shooting Sports Foundation which hosts SHOT Show each year has announced that they plan to host a virtual version of the annual trade show.

Nothing can truly replace the experience of the SHOT Show® in Las Vegas. While the show won’t be taking place in person this year, it doesn’t mean NSSF® can’t help you source new products and equipment and connect with the thousands of manufacturers with available inventory to meet your needs. Safariland and Flying Cross Launch Virtual Sizing Technology for Body Armor and Uniforms

XpertFit™ is a Touchless, First-To-Market Innovation for Public Safety

JACKSONVILLE, Florida – Safariland®, a brand of The Safariland Group, a leading global provider of safety products, along with Flying Cross, a Fechheimer Brothers Company brand and global leader in public safety uniforms, announced today their collaborative launch of phase one of a new virtual sizing technology called XpertFit. This virtual sizing technology revolutionizes the process in which individual officers are sized for body armor and uniform apparel. XpertFit offers a touchless, self-measure method of capturing body measurements right from a mobile phone.

XpertFit takes the guesswork out of onsite measuring by providing instant and accurate measurements from a smart device. The process takes less than 2 minutes to complete from initiating the technology until the time you are provided with product sizing.

Individuals will simply access the technology from a mobile device and choose their path to fit either body armor or uniforms. Next, the technology will gather general information and then take a front and side profile picture. This is then used to calculate measurements based on its uniquely developed algorithm, and determine a recommended size for Safariland body armor, or Flying Cross uniform apparel.

The new XpertFit technology will enter phase one of its release in early December to a select group of dealers and customers and will be ready for a full launch in Q2 of 2021. This first-to-market technology is an exclusive for Safariland and Flying Cross through their participating partnering dealers. XpertFit was created in partnership with 3DLOOK, the global leader in AI-first contactless body measuring and fit solutions.
