The boots feature a widened, stable fit, a slightly beveled heel for improved ground contact, and fast-rope guards on both the medial and lateral sides. All textile components of the Pirata Series are treated with an anti-wicking finish to prevent water absorption, allowing the boots to dry in 30 minutes or less, whether worn or exposed to open air. Recessed medial and lateral drainage ports are molded into the midsole in an asymmetric pattern that aligns with natural foot flex, ensuring efficient water evacuation without compromising ergonomics or comfort.
