Dynamis Alliance Launches Two New Products Onto Their R&D Page

December 29th, 2017

Dynamis Alliance is proud to begin sharing with you the development story of the Zero Clips and Combative Training Barrel.

The Dynamis team has taken all the feedback we have been collecting from the previous clip’s function and applied it to the new Dynamis Zero Clips. The key features remain on the clips. Heat treated metal is used for durability, and we have included a cloth grabber to maximize security and reliability. This capability has been tested on clothing ranging from board shorts to combat pants. The clip also pairs nicely with dress attire, so that you can be prepared to engage in your suit and tie. The Zero Clip will be tuck-able behind a shirt, making concealing your tools cleaner and more discreet. Furthermore, the length of the clip has been reduced to give it the ability to hide behind your belt, reducing your overall profile. This clip will now be the standard on all Dynamis sheathes and holsters. The Zero Clip will be sold individually as well in both the holster and sheath versions.

The Dynamis Alliance Combative Training Barrel is designed to allow you to train with your carry pistol in either a combative environment or during safe, dry fire practice. This aluminum barrel will be anodized high-vis red to make a clear distinction that this is a training tool and not a live barrel. This barrel is blocked off to make accidental loading impossible. This barrel will fit Gen 4 and below Glock 19 and 17 pistols.

Spiritus Systems – Lunchbox

December 28th, 2017

Designed with input from the Direct Action Resource Center, the Lunchbox was designed with Breachers and Assaulters in mind. Considerably larger than its little brother the “SACK” pouch the Lunch Box provides a simple solution for carrying explosives or collecting SSE.

It can easily accommodate multiple Roll-Ups, 8”x8” Puck Charges plus it has 5 elastic slots on the back to carry Interior Door Charges of varying length.

The pouch rolls up into a convenient stowage position using toggles and shock cord when not in use.

We brought the Tourniquet loops on the bottom to this new design as well as the stretch zipper stash pocket on the front. The stretch pocket makes it easy to carry remnants of det cord, rolls of tape or even spare plungers.

Finally we added elastic loops on both sides for stashing extra shock tube up while rolling primed to the door.

Releasing 29 December 2017 at 1700 EST.

AFOTEC Conducts Egress Testing Of Modular Handgun System

December 28th, 2017

Modular Handgun System is a joint program, with all four services set to eventually field the M17/M18. Air Force pilots carry a sidearm while flying as part of their survival gear. Consequently, the Air Force Operational Test And Evaluation Command has decided to submit MHS to egress testing in order to see if it is compatible with equipment worn by pilots while ejecting from their aircraft and if it will still function after being subjected to those forces. This is the first time they’ve conducted such a test.

Above, MSgt Samuel Pruett, Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center force protection program manager, based at Eglin AFB, Florida, secures an MHS on a test dummy prior to a test on the vertical deceleration tower inside the 711th Human Performance Wing at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, December 6th, 2017.

The vertical deceleration tower replicates ejection forces. As you can see, they tested two pistols at once, one with the 17 round magazine and the other with the 21 round magazine.

Here, MSgt Pruett checks an empty shell casing from a weapon for signs of the firing pin striking the primer at the conclusion of a test to ensure the weapon didn’t fire as a result of ejection forces.
