Agilite – AMAP 30

The AMAP 30 is a unique 30 liter assault pack for longer missions. It attaches either directly to an Agilite K series plate carrier or to the Agilite K Series shoulder straps to become an independent backpack.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

When a pack is connected directly to your plate carrier you don’t need rear padding as the pack sits on your rear plate, rather than your back. For this reason, the AMAP 30 was designed so that when worn over a plate carrier, its rear padding rolls down and stows inside the lower back padding and becomes a lumbar support. This brings your pack closer to your back and creates a lower back support below the plate carrier for a whole new level of modularity and comfort.

The exterior of the pack features an expandable helmet carrier and a rifle attachment system as well as covert lower connecting straps for sleeping bags, outdoor mats and other larger items. The top of the pack has both a lift handle and a drag handle as well as dual exit ports for hydration/comms tubes and a zip pocket.

The inside features a zipped mesh pocket, a long with a pocket which can be used for hydration reservoir, ballisitc plate, or laptop sleeve.

The AMAP 30 is made in Israel and ships worldwide.

Readyman – EDC Belt Sleeve

November 7th, 2017

Readyman’s EDC Sleeve is one of things you see and say, “why didn’t I think of that?”.

img_2932.jpg

Not everyone runs around with a fully kitted plate carrier or warbelt on. Instead, we deal with day-to-day issues with whatever we have on hand. For many, this means their Every Day Carry includes more items than the average person, often in specialized gear. On the othr hand, the EDC Belt Sleeve allows you to add commonly needed gear to your trouser belt with ease. Additionally, the items sit close and parallel to the belt, resulting in a low profile. Finally, it’s stretchy, so it will hold most items secure, despite not having a flap.

The Non-Pyrotechnic Diversionary Device (NPDD) is intended to address and overcome the shortcomings and regulations with traditional or conventional incendiary flashbang devices on the market today.

The NPDD may be desirable to law enforcement teams that need to operate in environments where pyrotechnic-based flashbang technologies are a poor or nonexistent choice. In addition to operational use, the NPDD could be a cost-effective training tool for law enforcement personnel who utilize incendiary flashbangs but desire to reduce health risks such as breathing hazardous fumes, severe burns or dismemberment.

With the growing opioid epidemic and the dangers of Fentanyl and Carfentanil, every police officer and first responder needs a cost effective and safe way to detect the presence of these substances so they may identify them and handle them appropriately.

Southwest Synergistic Solutions E/T (Emergency/Tactical) Light

The technology was originally developed at the request of a Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) medic who was carrying four bags of chemical lights to triage patients. The E/T light combines four colors red, yellow, green, blue or infrared red, green, blue into one combat proven, lightweight, durable, illuminated marker that functions in all austere environments.

The E/T light has countless applications for emergency responders such as tagging team members, patients and equipment. In addition to first responders there are uses in hunting, kayaking, fishing, back-up lighting, camping, scuba diving and boating.

Gentex Awarded Navy Contract for Laser Eye Protection Spectacles for Pilots

November 7th, 2017

New Technology Provides Advanced Level of Protection Against High-Intensity Visible Laser Sources

Carbondale, PA, November, 2017 Gentex Corporation, a global leader in personal protection and situational awareness solutions for defense forces, emergency responders, and industrial personnel announced today it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Navy for design, development, test and evaluation, and production of Laser Eye Protection (LEP) Threat Spectacles (including the prescription Rx component) and protective carrying cases. The contract supports the Navy’s Laser Eye Protection Threat Spectacle Program, and also provides Gentex options for delivery of Low Rate Initial Production and Full Rate Production units.

The Gentex spectacle solution will provide the Navy with a mature, fully compliant design for day/night, multiple wavelength protection that will address the needs of its fixed and rotary wing aircrew that are exposed to laser threats, which have been on the rise.

“We’re proud to continue to support the military in combating laser threats encountered by aircrew with our latest laser eye protection technology,” said Robert McCay, vice president aircrew and aircraft maintainer systems, Gentex Corporation. “Based on decades of experience with military laser eye protection, Gentex was previously chosen to provide Laser Eye Protection Spectacles for the DoD’s F-35 Program, and Gentex EDU-7/P Laser Eye Protection Spectacles to the Navy.”

Proven to be scalable to visor applications, the laser protective filter in the Gentex spectacles utilize the latest, most advanced laser eye protection materials developed for and tested by both the NAVAIR and USAF/AFRL advanced technology development and demonstrator programs.

Gentex also offers Dazzle Laser Defense Eyewear designed for use by both civilian and military pilots for protection from civilian laser pointers. The laser glare-reduction lenses in the Dazzle Eyewear are available in day and night versions, and are designed to maintain see-through color perception while providing necessary protection from green and blue commercial lasers. Laser protection is achieved using special optical absorbing dye and lens coating technologies. Dazzle Eyewear is available as spectacles for use by civilian and military pilots and in visor formats for Gentex rotary wing helmets, and flight-helmet compatible spectacles that are compatible with additional headborne equipment, such as Helmet Mounted Displays and Night Vision Goggles.

Gentex Corporation is the leading supplier of high-performance flight equipment for aircraft maintainers and military, law enforcement, and rescue aircrew worldwide. Anquan Launches CAST – Cyber Attack Survival Training – an Immersive Training Programme for Executive Teams

November 6th, 2017

LONDON – Nov. 3, 2017 – After three years of development Anquan has launched the CAST (Cyber Attack Survival Training) platform. CAST provides a new concept and approach to address the critical lack of cyber awareness at an executive level within organisations. It exploits immersive educational, exercise and planning techniques and each simulation is delivered by a team of subject matter experts drawn from across government and the commercial sector.

The cyber threat to companies is real, increasing and regularly overlooked – CAST exercises strip away the dry technical briefings and delivers fast-paced real-time crises, pushing teams to the very limits of their abilities and delivers critical awareness and understanding. At its core, CAST is an experience, which elicits strong reactions from participants.

“For over three years Anquan has been developing these immersive cyber crisis scenarios – scenarios that allow people to experience, learn and assess how they might react in the face of a serious cyber event” says Will Burton, Senior Game Designer at Anquan. “For most people cyber is dull, not on their radar. CAST is exciting, fun and a little scary – thats how you get people to listen and learn”.

Every company, school, department and organisation runs fire drills, but almost none run cyber drills. How would you respond to a massive data breach, a leak of sensitive information or cyber ransom attack? What procedures, do you have in place? Which members of the team do you involve? And what is your internal and external communications strategy? These are the critical questions that a CAST simulation makes clients confront.

With the CAST platform, Anquan has found a new way to pass along the critical cyber awareness messages that are needed across all business sectors.
