Milipol 2015, November 17-20, Paris, France, Hall 5, Aisle D, Stand 123

November 12, 2015 – Meprolight – a leading manufacturer of thermal and night vision equipment, electro-optical systems, Laser Range Finder systems, and Self-Illuminated sights for military, law enforcement and civil applications – presents new night vision and thermal offerings for snipers and sharpshooters at the upcoming Milipol exhibition. The company will display an advanced variation of the MEPRO NOA NYX with higher resolution, and a new generation of the MEPRO HUNTER Sniper’s Night Vision Weapon Sight for maximizing first hit probability.

According to Benny Kokia, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, “We are happy to present our new solutions, developed by our R&D department. Our close relationships and ongoing communication with our customers allow us to very rapidly translate lessons learned in the field into upgrades for our systems – and to quickly bring the most advanced sights to the market. The latest versions of the MEPRO NOA NYX – Lightweight Uncooled Thermal Weapon Sight will be unveiled at Milipol, supporting 640×480 microbolometer cores (17?). They provide a more advanced image, a wider field-of-vision, and longer ranges, and include color displays and overlays. The thermal MEPRO NOA NYX sight guarantees high-quality observation and precision target engagement – enabling efficient day & night operations in low-light conditions, dust & smoke scenarios, and in complete darkness common in CQB.

The sight is provided in a compact, lightweight and durable enclosure, minimizing weapon load and ensuring convenient and reliable operation at all times. Advanced power saving capabilities based on a motion sensor combined with utilization of four commercially available “AA” batteries significantly reduce the sight’s Life Cycle Costs (LCC).

Juggernaut.Board MFF-T2

November 12th, 2015

Juggernaut Defense and ADI Technologies assembled a team to develp the Navigation Board solution for CTTSO to assist HALO/HAHO jumpers. By bringing together several key trainers and HAHO jumpers from the SOF community, the best ideas from several decades of high altitude-high opening navigation were applied to the design.

The Juggernaut.Board™ MFF-T2 has several key features which enable jumpers to employ the NavBoard under canopy without interfering with the many types of containers and kit loadouts.

By applying the same hinged design as the Juggernaut.Case™ Armor.Mount, the NavBoard is able to be fully folded up or down for aircraft exit and landing. While under canopy the board can be angled into view, enabling the user to manipulate Jumpmaster apps within ATAK and APASS, utilize the red-LED backlit Oceanic Compass, and view the wrist-top GPS mounted to the board.

Also integrated into the board is a CR123 powered heater-element capable of sustaining operation of the device down to -50°C for 30 minutes and a stylus-garage/tether for operating apps on the device with thick cold-weather gloves on.
