MDM – Alexander Arms – Semi Auto .338 Lapua Magnum

September 24th, 2014

The Ulfberft (Viking Sword) is a newish semi auto DMR in .338 Lapua from Alexander Arms.

IMG_7591.JPG

It’s been in production for about 8 months. Weighing in at 19.8 lbs, the semi-auto operating system mitigates recoil meaning it will reliably engage targets out to 2000 m.

When you disassemble the weapon you can see how few parts there actually are and it definitely gives me a crew served machine gun vibe.

Make sure you check it out on the Alexander Arms website for more info.

As you can see, the technology does a great job of concealing the user under thermal sensors (LWIR above) but it also offers visual, niR, SWIR and MWIR.

The hide systems are reversible and can be used for a variety of environments such as desert, woodland or transitional. Additionally, they can be daisy chained together to create a variety of configurations.
