These wind and water resistant garments feature athletic cuts with 2 and 4-way stretch materials for mobility and comfort. Schoeller® NanoSphere® treated 2-way stretch shell is combined with Tweave DURASTRETCH® 4-way stretch panels and a moisture-wicking lining to produce garments that weigh only Jacket -10.4 oz (296g), 1/4 Zip Pullover – 9.6 oz (272g). Available in MultiCam.

Seul Military Consulting

Thursday, January 13th, 2011

We met the folks from Seul military Consulting at last year’s SHOT Show and were immediately impressed with what they had going on. They are responsible for the introduction of Crye Precision combat clothing in German Flecktarn for use by German forces (and MultiCam as well). Not only do they rep the top tier US brands in their home country of Germany but they manufacture some of their own home grown designs as well.

Their own brand is called ATLAS and they produce unique stuff like multi-pocket field jackets, boonie hats, Baseball caps with Velcro and more.

Look for Seul Military Consulting wandering the halls of SHOT Show. They will be there looking for new products to introduce to the German market.

Nelson Paint at SHOT Show

Thursday, January 13th, 2011

Nelson Paint Company, in business since 1940, is introducing two new less lethal and tactical products and as well as their line of camouflage paints at this year’s SHOT Show.

Deter-It Less-Lethal Projectiles deliver a shot of kinetic energy to a suspect or animal to compel deterrence of undesired behavior without penetration or serious injury at a fraction of the cost of other less-lethal projectiles . They can be used with any standard .68 caliber paintball gun.

Deter-it Crasher Projectiles (seen above) are designed to break vehicular and structural glass upon impact during hostage and barricade incidents. Deter-it Crasher Projectiles open up entry channels for follow-up of Deter-it HEAT or other chemical munitions. CRASHER can also be used with any standard .68 caliber paintball gun.

First Photos of the C4Grip from Silynx

Thursday, January 13th, 2011

We’ve already told you where to see Silynx at SHOT Show (booth #5100) and yes, it looks to be tucked back in a corner so be vigilant and make sure you find it because once you are there you will be able to see the new C4Grip.

Silynx kept telling us that they had something unexpected coming and this is certainly it. This thing really took us by surprise. They have not only integrated a wireless push-to-talk as well as controls for an ATPIAL and weapons light into the grip but have also made it somewhat modular, promising the ability to swap out grips for color and shape. Additionally, they are offering some pimpage in the form of laser engraving on the grip. Last but certainly not least, the grip is hollow and features a removable folding knife.
