Designed BY Kawamura-Ganjavian, the Ostrich Pillow is really taking off. But I’ve got to warn you, there is a little bit of humor to this thing. The manufacturer is named Banana Things and it’s filled with micro balls. There’s probably a joke or two on there for ya.
There’s lots for you to work with here guys, so have at it. But, it might be just the thing you need to get a good sleep on a long transatlantic flight or stuck in an uncomfortable transient barracks.

Weapon Outfitters has the QD Brake Shield for AAC Mounts by Simplistic Shooting Solutions in stock. If you’re running an SBR with a brake, the gun can be LOUD. Some like it that way, but not everyone at the range is going to appreciate your particular taste in noise. Use the QD Brake Shield when you don’t have a suppressor in place and it will direct the gases and noise forward, away from the shooter.
According to Weapon Outfitters, this mount is compatible with AAC suppressor mounts for 5.56, and 7.62/6.8/300 BLK. If your mount fits the M4-1000, M4-2000, 762-SD, or 762-SDN-6, then this device will fit your mount.

Financing Now Available for Target Packages at TacStrike

TacStrike builds a great target and decided to come up with a way to help shooters get ahold of their systems. Tacstrike is offering target sets of their 1/4 scale steel targets which feature a AR 500 (brinell hardness of at least 495) plate which floats inside of the carrier allowing it to absorb the impact without the need to swing to the rear or rock in the carrier to absorb the bullet impact. The Upright mounts into the base plates center 2×2 pocket and has an armor plate attached to the front of the post to keep those low rounds from damaging the post.

Dual Survival – Season 3
Wednesday, January 2nd, 2013Watching “Dual Survival: Unbraided”, a special that introduces Cody Lundin’s new co-host Joseph Teti to the popular Discovery Channel show.
I don’t feel that he brings the same level of woodcraft to the series as we’ve seen in the past but his can-do-no-matter-what experience is a welcome addition to the show. I also appreciate his extensive tracking experience reportedly gained under the tutelage of the legendary David Scott-Donelan.
As Cody Lundin said, “This is what Dual Survival is supposed to be.”
It’s worth watching this season, and it starts now on the Discovery Channel.
