CLEVELAND – An unsurpassed combination of protection and comfort. That is how customers describe our EPIC Air Helmet Liner System. The original EPIC Air was introduced to the market in 2011 as a helmet padding/liner system that could be installed in common ground combat helmets, designed to provide a high level of comfort and breathability while maintaining compatibility with communication headsets. The new EPIC Air retains many of the original design elements including its Zorbium® foam liner exceeding current ACH blunt impact protection requirements, with improvements that provide better fit, comfort, stability, and even further optimized air ventilation patterns to the end user.
The EPIC Air Helmet Liner System is available through TeamWendy.com and authorized Team Wendy distributors.

Winter’s coming. I’ve had a pair of these new FR Assault Gloves for a couple of months now. While they aren’t a full on winter glove, they are great for weapon handling and other tasks that require dexterity. I’ve long been a fan of the Bird’s ergonomic glove patterning. One feature I really like is the touch screen friendly fingertips because I hate having to take gloves off and put them back on, over amd over again, each time I need to use a mobile device.
Made from Tencate’s 10 oz Defender-M interlock fabric along with goat leather for FR. The gloves also incorporate utility loops for stowage and a cut off option for the index finger.
A cool, beach influenced prototype from Velocity Systems was spotted at this week’s Connecticut SWAT Challenge. You’re definitely not going to be the guy, trying not to look like the guy, in this shirt. Totally conceptual so far, the Point Break Pullover, is what happens when a tactical company lets a “surf first” employee run with an idea. But, if there’s enough interest, it might just make it from sample room to show room.
Made from a 5 oz 98/2 nylon spandex blend. DWR. Uber stretchy, water, rain, debris repellent. Single large chest pocket, Canadian buttons and great style.
