Thursday, September 17th, 2015Columbia, SC, September 15, 2015 – Panteao Productions is happy to announce a partnership with Texas Armament & Technology and Aguila Ammunition. Moving forward Panteao will be exclusively using Aguila ammunition during the filming of the Panteao instructional videos.
With each video title filmed, the one constant is the need to put rounds downrange. Whether Panteao is filming an instructor demonstrating a drill or shot placement, lots of live rounds are a necessity. Then there are the times the Panteao camera operators want that “money shot” and need to shoot high frame rate video. Again, more ammo must be sacrificed for the greater good. Equally important for Panteao is the quality of the ammunition. If the ammo doesn’t work because of a bad primer or other defect, then a scene must be reshot. Time is money on the production set.

Nikon – PROSTAFF Rimfire II Riflescope

Nikon, through their Sport Optics division, has announced the PROSTAFF Rimfire II series of scopes. Available in 3-9×40 and 4-12×40, the Rimfire II series is designed specifically for use with .22 LR, and features the BDC 150 Reticle.
Both scopes are fully waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof. Adjustments are made in increments of 1/4 in. at 50 yards, and the spring-loaded Instant Zero-Reset turrets allow the user to reset the turrets to zero after sighting in, for making easier adjustments. The 3-9×40 features a 50 yd. parallax setting, and the 4-12×40 features a 75 yd. parallax setting.
Solkoa and Hill People Gear “Learn | Prepare” Event

This coming Saturday from 9am – 4pm, Solkoa Survival Systems and Hill People Gear are hosting an event at Solkoa’s location in Colorado Springs. The event consists of classes, pack fitting, gear demonstrations, and a raffle. Also, tours of the Solkoa facility including their SERE museum containing artifacts from the American Civil War all the way up through the (unclassified) present. Some Updates On PenCott Camouflage Products

Slovenian tactical clothing company UF PRO offers some impressive products, however they have been difficult to procure for the North American customer, until now, that is. Canadian company SEALS Action Gear has become the North American distributor for UF PRO, and will be carrying their full line of products in the full colorway UF PRO offers, including PenCott patterns. Last month, we featured a story on SEALS Action Gear and their adoption of PenCott patterns for several of their in-house designs.
Additionally, German tactical gear company Tasmanian Tactical is now offering various packs and load carrying gear in PenCott GreenZone, including, but not limited to, the TT Raid Pack MK III PC, TT 3 SGL Mag Pouch BEL PC, and TT Tac Pouch 4 PC horizontal.

This installation offers a 2kw 24v system integrated into the ATV which offers the same level of preformance of a separate gen set. This means you can drive the quad to a location and then use it to power up to 10 laptops, multiple radio and ECM sets as well as battery chargers.
