Erik Agazim to Launch Law Enforcement Charity

Friday, March 23rd, 2018

Erik Agazim, the founder of National Police Ammunition, is celebrating the company’s 9th year in business.

Hialeah, Fla. (March 2018)  – National Police Ammunition, founded in 2009, is focused on lead-free alternative ammunition, specially designed and developed for law enforcement use. In celebration of the nine-year milestone, Agazim is founding EALEO Charities-Erik Agazim Law Enforcement Officers Charities-to give back to the law enforcement community.

The soon-to-be-founded organization will be divided into three main categories, according to Agazim. These will be merit-based scholarships, a foundation for fallen officers, and an equipment grants program. Merit-based scholarships will assist low-income cadets with the tuition and equipment required by police academies.

Meanwhile, the assistance foundation will provide support for fallen officers and their families, through work carried out directly with local police associations. Lastly, equipment grant programs will aid under-funded agencies with the critical equipment and training ammunition which they require.

“I’ve had the honor to work with law enforcement for the last nine years and have learned the challenges they face financially,” says Agazim of the project.

“From young cadets entering academies without the resources to purchase simple items such as holsters, to veteran SWAT operators who do not have the proper equipment, inhibiting their ability to conduct specialized operations, I’ve seen it all,” he adds.

Agazim continues, “National Police Ammunition will donate a portion of its revenue directly to the charity through its new parent company, Defense Engineering Systems.”

Initially, the charity plans to donate $500 each month to the Miami Dade Police Chiefs Association officer of the month, along with a further $1,000 to the officer of the year.

A website is currently under construction which will allow potential scholarship candidates to apply for student aid, which will be reviewed by the charity’s board. The website will also offer grant applications to agencies for specialized equipment and ammunition needed for additional training.

“Law enforcement has blessed National Police Ammunition over the last nine years,” remarks Agazim.

“I’m excited and grateful,” he adds, “to have the opportunity to give back to their community.”

Erik Agazim’s National Police Ammunition is already heavily involved with a number of local law enforcement charities and associations.

The company currently sponsors the Florida Police Athletic-Activities League, the Michael Callin Memorial Scholarship Fund, and the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.

The Miami-based ammunition specialists are also proud members of the Miami Dade County Association of Chiefs of Police, the Florida Police Chiefs Association, the Florida Highway Patrol Command Officers Association, and the Florida Sheriffs Association.

Reptilia Announces New Micro Red Dot Optic Mounts for Geissele Super Precision Scope Mount 30MM

Thursday, March 22nd, 2018

March 22, 2018 – Reptilia, an American design and manufacturing company creating innovative, premium grade products, has announced the release of their newest optic mounts: the ROF45 and the ROF90.

5C441C81-D545-4ED0-A9E9-27BA1DCBB6F8

The ROF45 and ROF90 mounts are designed as a drop-in upgrade for magnified scope mounts. Available initially for Geissele Automatics’ Super Precision 30mm scope mount, the ROF adds a mounting point for a miniature reflex sight to a magnified scope mount, for fast transition to a close-range optic. End users can choose between a top-mounted optic with the ROF90 and a 45-degree offset cant with the ROF45.

The ROF45 RMR and ROF45 DPP are precision machined from billet 7075 aluminum and protected with Mil-spec type III hardcoat finish. Weighing in at 28g, care was taken to minimize the added weight when mounted to your Geissele Super Scope Mount 30MM. Currently designed to mount a Trijicon RMR or a Leupold DPP, the ROF45 mounts minimize the distance from the magnified optic centerline at a 45 degree cant, while ensuring enough clearance that the sight picture is not obstructed by turrets.

The ROF90 RMR and ROF90 DPP are precision machined from billet 7075 aluminum and protected with Mil-spec type III hard coat finish. Weighing in at 34g and 24g respectively, care was taken to minimize the added weight when mounted to your Geissele Super Scope Mount 30MM. Currently designed to mount a Trijicon RMR or a Leupold DPP, the ROF90 mounts minimize the distance from the magnified optic centerline in a vertical orientation, while ensuring enough clearance that the sight picture is not obstructed by most turrets.

“Reptilia was founded with the mission of developing product solutions for those fighting the good fight” stated Eric Burt, Reptilia’s President and Head of Design. “We received a request for piggy-back reflex optic mounting solutions which drove us to create our ROF line of products”

Burt, one of the industry’s most respected and sought after Industrial Designers, founded Reptilia with the intent to address issues that were frequently overlooked in the firearms industry. Ranging from simple design tweaks to grander-scale innovations, Reptilia is the vehicle to bring ideas to fruition. Promising an insatiable need to innovate and bridge the gaps that challenge end users. Reptilia stand by their mantra of, “Superiority Through Evolution.” In a world that is always evolving, Reptilia strives to produce products and provides services that are unmatched in this industry.

Gunwerks Announces Exclusive Rifle Series series Called The Collective, Reveals The CoPilot

Thursday, March 22nd, 2018

(Cody, Wyoming) March 19, 2018.  The Collective, a series of exclusive, purpose-driven, premium rifles, introduces the CoPilot. The ultimate truck gun for the land manager, hunter, and those who simply want the best. The CoPilot is a limited edition rifle with less than 100 offered to the public. Designed as a short frame rifle the CoPilot is chambered in 6MM Creedmoor, built with premium components and accessories.

“We pooled some of the brightest minds and makers of the best components in the industry. Then, sparing no expense and cutting zero corners, the concept of The CoPilot as the ultimate truck gun was conceived.” says Gunwerks C.O.O, James Christensen. “We wanted a rifle system that was accurate, lightweight, suppressed, and had all the top-of-the-line trimmings. It had to be perfect for a coyote, whitetail, or even a 500 lbs Nilgai.”

At its core, it is a Gunwerks’ GLR bolt action. Next, we added a Proof Research custom length, carbon wrapped barrel designed specifically for this rifle. Because we needed an ultra-compact package, we worked with Manners to design a collapsible carbon fiber stock. The versatility of this adjustable stock also makes it perfect for your little guy or girl to grow up with. The CoPilot also includes a frictionless sear trigger from Trigger Tech, Nightforce ATACR F1 4-16×42 optic, and is ready for a SilencerCo Omega suppressor. It also comes with an SKB hard case which protects a customized Armageddon Gear softside case which secures the rifle and houses the SilencerCo Suppressor as well as ammunition boxes in specialized compartments.

The custom Armageddon Gear case can be set down like a suitcase, and it will stand up unlike other soft side gun cases to ensure safety and convenience at all times. Another important part of the package is the ammo. The package ships with 1,500 rounds of 103 grain Hornady ELD-X loaded ammunition.

Finally, the package also features the Gunwerks Long Range Package meaning each gun is tested not only at 100 yards but at a distance to create a ballistic profile for every individual rifle. This information for a given altitude and temperature is engraved onto a ballistic turret. Utilizing a Trigger Tech trigger set at 2 lbs, the light, crisp pull coupled with the custom carbon barrel and the NightForce scope, this rifle has an effective hunting range of 800yds while the target range extends beyond 1200!

The CoPilot is an experience within itself from opening the case to entering the field. To see the CoPilot visit www.gunwerks.com/copilot or call 877-393-1639.

Next-Generation Polaris DAGOR Evolves with Mission Requirements

Thursday, March 22nd, 2018

Minneapolis, March 21, 2018 –  Polaris Government and Defense is evolving its squad-ready DAGOR® off-road vehicle with the introduction of the DAGOR® A1. The DAGOR® A1 provides improved performance and capabilities with better mobility and operator functionality for customers which already include U.S. Special Forces, the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division, Canadian Special Operations Forces Command (CANSOFCOM), multiple European militaries and additional global forces.

“DAGOR® is deployed around the world. Its flexible and modular design allows it to fulfill a number of missions and evolve with threats,” said Mark McCormick, senior director, Polaris Government and Defense. “DAGOR® A1 is our answer to operators that are asking for more payload and mobility, with an increase of more than 20 percent in total carrying capacity. The DAGOR® A1 is ideally suited to provide enhanced tactical mobility as well as command and control for infantry forces at the squad, company level and higher.”

The DAGOR’s modularity continues to allow for missionization, including the Squad Carrier configuration, the Personnel Recovery Kit, or Canada’s Ultra-Light Combat Vehicle (ULCV) configuration. New missionization components include newly designed fuel or water can holders that can be placed in several locations quickly and easily with newly offered cargo box aircraft rails, RF antenna mounts and a tailgate that is aircraft rail compatible for a convenient and familiar storage options for the tailgate’s 500-pound (227 kilogram) capacity.

DAGOR® provides exceptional off-road mobility, payload and transportability – carrying up to nine warfighters and their gear, for a total payload of up to 4,000 pounds (1,814 kilograms) on the DAGOR® A1. An increased ride height – even at full payload – provides better obstacle clearance and improves off-road mobility. DAGOR® A1 maintains air-drop, sling-load and internal tactical air transportability on CH47 and CH53 helicopters from the original ultralight vehicle platform. And DAGOR® has successfully completed hot weather trials in the Gulf Region.

The DAGOR® A1 also incorporates durability and improved operator functionality. An in-dash power management screen provides in-cab access to vehicle component condition – like battery state of charge – to aid in communications and silent watch. Expanded lighting options and integrated wiring expands on the utility of the open-concept DAGOR®.

“Polaris is centered around delivering constant innovation to our customers as the competitive commercial market demands,” said McCormick. “Our military customers worldwide benefit from our innovative DNA and perfected large-scale processes to field the latest technology, because it allows us to constantly deliver the very latest in mobility to the warfighter.”

Polaris® is under contract to provide CANSOFCOM with the DAGOR® A1 with a specialty ULCV package. DAGOR® ULCV delivery began in 2017 and will be completed this year.

DAGOR® uses a readily available commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) driveline, controls and components streamlining mechanic and operator training, like a diesel/JP8 COTS engine selected for its ideal combination of power, weight and size. DAGOR’s unique design allows for ease of operation, maintenance and sustainment in support of combat operations. The open design of the cargo bed maximizes loading space, flexibility and access for mission-essential equipment. Polaris® provides sustainment for DAGOR® vehicles fielded, including parts through DLA and service through a global network of Field Service Reps (FSRs).
