New Variation of the Invictus Framelock Featuring MagnaCut Blade Alloy

Prometheus Design Werx releases their newest iteration of the Invictus folding knife design under the Special Projects Division sublabel, featuring a MagnaCut blade. This variant also features a chamfered flat handle configuration to reduce the overall thickness for a slimmer profile. Other high-level details include ceramic pivot bearings, a selection of presentation side scale options such as G10, micarta and carbon fiber, a LBS insert, dive watch grade luminous inlays in the dual thumbstuds, signature fullers, and precision machined details throughout this knife. The Invictus-SP is a purpose driven design and edged tool painstakingly made with state-of-the-art multi-axis CNC machines and the highest level of precision refinements found only in the best production tools.

The SPD Edition Invictus-SP by Prometheus Design Werx will be available with OD Green G10, carbon fiber, micarta scales or full titanium handles as pictured.

The Flaming Rock from S.O.Tech

The idea behind the new S.O.Tech Flaming Rock came from the 25th Infantry Division based at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii. After hearing that the troops would cut shreds of VS17 panels and tape rocks around them to throw to signals to lift and shift fire, we decided to come up with something better.

The Flaming Rock is real simple, it is made of MultiCam pack cloth with an orange pack cloth tail.

We supply a sewn-on strip of one wrap that ties around the pouch to hold the rock in place. The Flaming Rock is able to attach to the MOLLE of the soldier’s vest, making it very accessible for fast access.

From this pile of components, you can assemble a Multi-Rig which is fully scalable and customizable by the end-user.

You start with these two basic PALS compatible modules. They are connected to one another via the pouch’s attachment and can be combined to create as large or as small a rig as you’d like.

Zipper, SR buckle, and Tubes modules can be inserted to create a split front or side opening rig. QASM buckles can also be incorporated into the modules.
