Darley Announced As An EY Midwest Entrepreneur of the Year 2021

Warrior East 21 – Sneak Peek Vertx Walker Medical Pouch and Kit

Vertx’s upcoming Walker Medical kit is contained in the Walker Medical Pouch which was developed with Warrior Innovations LLC. However, the contents of the kit are provided by Phokus Research Group.

Both the pouch and full kit will be offered in Small and Medium versions.

The pouch features a Belt sleeve for mounting and two pull handles at the top as well as a shock cord for Tourniquet mounting. Medical tape can be secured via one of two hook and loop tapes. The insert folds open to reveal two internal pockets which are secured with color-coded shock cord retention (red for bleeding, blue for cardiovascular and green for airways) for faster identification of necessary supplies.

SIG SAUER Academy Completes Inaugural P365 EDC Championship Presented by USCCA

NEWINGTON, N.H., (July 28, 2021) – SIG SAUER Academy, the leading provider of the highest quality firearms instruction and tactical training in the world, is pleased to announce the results of the Inaugural P365 EDC Championship presented by the US Conceal Carry Association (USCCA) held at the SIG SAUER Academy in Epping, New Hampshire July 21-24, 2021. 

The P365 EDC Championship was a thirteen-stage match with four divisions and participation in the match required a SIG SAUER P365 pistol.  The first-place finishers in each of the divisions were as follows:

Open / Mason Lane: Modified P365 pistol that may be outfitted with aftermarket products.

Carry Optics / Zach Smith: Stock P365 series pistol with mounted optic only.

Stock P365XL / Phil Strader: No modifications allowed to firearm or magazine

Stock P365 / Shannon Smith: No modifications allowed to firearm or magazine.

Xray Alpha training is driven from the passion of its founder to relay timely and effective training and tactics to the individuals that use them to save others, protect their family, and protect this nation. This isn’t something we want to do for fun or a quick buck, we are driven to give back as something we must do.

Australian Dept of Defence Announce $35m Contract to Aquaterro Australian Combat Helmet (Team Wendy EXFIL) Refurbishment Program

Today the Australian Minister for Defence Industry, the Hon. Melissa Price MP announced a landmark $35m (USD$26.5m) Contract with Australian Company, Aquaterro for the refurbishment of the ADF Tiered Combat Helmet (TCH) fleet.

The contract to refurbish the Aquaterro supplied Team Wendy EXFIL (TCH) reflects the confidence the Australian Commonwealth has in Aquaterro’s capabilities as a technical inspection and complex programmes service provider. Aquaterro is the Prime Vendor for the Land125.3B Tiered Combat Helmet Program.

As a leading regional provider of soldier and officer worn and carried equipment, Aquaterro is steadfast in its continual strategic investment in product design, development, testing and production capabilities. Aquaterro’s commitment to investment in these critical capabilities continues to be evident through its significant expansion across multiple fronts, including recruitment of technical specialists and investment in dedicated infrastructure for the future, long- term commitment of Self-Protection Personal Equipment research and development.

As of July 2021, Aquaterro officially announces the completion of “Building 2” on its Aquaterro Defence Precinct site in Pakenham, Southeast Melbourne. This dedicated Integrated Soldier Systems Center on over 32,000 square feet of industrial land is adjacent to the company’s 70,000 square foot headquarters property, which will accommodate the Armour Technical Inspection and Refurbishment Workshop.

The HON Scott Morrison, Prime Minister of Australia, previewed Aquaterro’s refurbishment and SPPE capabilities during his visit to Aquaterro Headquarters in May 2021, where the Prime Minister was among the first to see the new Combat Ballistic Helmet Technical Inspection and Refurbishment process, now operating within the new Building 2, Integrated Solider Systems Center.

This facility and Aquaterro’s capabilities will continue to enable the ongoing development and production of operationally relevant Integrated Soldier Systems and Small Arms programs capability for Australia’s sovereign defence industry.
