The Apex Warrior’s Belt is individually serialized, inscribed with year, number (1/511, 2/511, etc.), and the passage from Isaiah 6:8, “Whom shall I send? The simple, molded design is attached ato the shoulder pad/strap of the vest by means of a heavy duty Velcro strap and keeps it away from the neck.

Sneak Peek – Arc’teryx Luggage

Before I headed over to the Blade Show I stopped by Über Group. They are an Atlata-based rep group for several outdoor brands which includes Arc’teryx. Having recently returned from the Spring sales meeting their space had just transformed, showcasing the Spring 2013 collection. One thing immediately caught my eye, luggage. Offered in 3 sizes, Ci (70l), ICO (50l) and CO (40l), the Covert series is manufactured from a combination of 500D Cordura and Burly double weave.
These are duffel-style bags with stowable shoulder straps for backpack carry. You may notice a green and a black variant. The actual color names are Utility Green and Carbon Copy. The Utility Green is more green than Crocodile.
One of the coolest things about the Covert luggage series is the interior. It’s a light color in order to see what’s inside, but it also incorporates the iconic Arc’teryx logo.

Chrome Custom Military Salvage Program

Now through June 30th, Chrome honors US Military personnel by inviting Veterans and their families to bring their military duffles or fatigues to one of Chrome’s four HUB locations in San Francisco, New York, Chicago, and Portland. Chrome bag makers will use this material to create a Custom Citizen Messenger bag for the cost of a regular Citizen Messenger bag.
This Custom Salvage Citizen was built last year for Army Veteran Jared Morford of Watertown, South Dakota from the duffle he carried to Iraq.

TYR Tactical Zip On Back Panels

TYR Tactical has added 6 new Zip On Back Panels to their website. These are designed to work with the PICO plate carrier but due to the design, you can adapt them to most armor carriers. The adapters just MOLLE into place on the rear of the carrier.
Options include a beaver tail model, PALS models with hydration pockets and admin variants with hydration pockets.
Manufactured from PV, they are available in MultiCam, Coyote, Ranger Green and Black.
