Strike Industries Releases a New Concussion Reduction Device: The Oppressor LITE V2

Wednesday, February 5th, 2025

Strike Industries is proud to introduce the latest evolution in concussion reduction technology—the Strike Oppressor Lite V2. Designed to deliver high performance in a lightweight package, the Oppressor Lite V2 provides shooters with a no-compromise solution for gas redirection and recoil management.

Weighing in at only 5 ounces, the Oppressor Lite V2 is nearly half the weight of the original Oppressor (9.5 oz.), offering enhanced maneuverability without sacrificing durability. Installation has also been streamlined, requiring only half the amount of rotations compared to the original model, allowing for rapid attachment and removal from your muzzle device.

The inner core of the Oppressor Lite V2 is crafted from hardened steel, while the outer shell is constructed from lightweight aluminum. This innovative design includes 18 strategically placed venting holes, preventing carbon lock and ensuring seamless operation.

The Strike Oppressor series represents the finest in Concussion Reduction Devices on the market, and the Lite V2 is a natural evolution of this technology. With its hybrid design, the Oppressor Lite V2 serves as the little brother to the original Oppressor while drawing inspiration from the Oppressor Universal, giving users the best of both worlds.

The Oppressor family of muzzle devices is engineered to redirect gas pressure produced by aggressive brakes and compensators. Advanced internal geometry actively draws gases out and thrusts them forward through vents, delivering efficient linear braking. This design is particularly beneficial for shooters transitioning into prone positions, training indoors, or operating in close-quarters environments where minimizing side blast is critical.
