Atlas Standard Update

Last year, Crye Precision unveiled an ambitious clothing line called Atlas Standard. Since then, they’ve been hard at work, behind the scenes to turn those amazing designs into production ready products. They’re almost there, and recently released a short brand video.

What’s more, they’ve created a landing page.

SHOT Show 19 – Phokus Research Group’s

At FirstSpear Range we got a look at Phokus Research Group’s Under Armor Individual First Aid System which they provide to the military through the SOF Sustainment, Asset Visibility and Information Exchange (SSAVIE) program.

SOF and Support Units can order Under Armor Trauma Kits – free of charge through their program. However, others can get it as well through Phokus, Tactical Medical Solutions or ADS.

There are two variants, explained below:

SHOT Show 19 – Winkler Knives AF Survival Knife

January 23rd, 2019

Developed in conjunction with customers at Cannon AFB, the AF Survival Knife is made from 1/4″ thick 80CrV2 with a fully insulated micarta handle in case you cut into an electrical wire.

It incorporates a hammer butt, saw, and chisel into the design. The notch in the sheath exposes the blade slightly to cut wires.

The Kydex sheath incorporates a lock which must be depressed in order to remove the knife from the sheath.
