McRae Industries introduced the Terassault® T1 in early 2016. The T1 is made in USA, Berry amendment and AR670-1 compliant. The T1 is the company’s first entry into high performance boots developed and made in the USA. T1’s progressive design is an evolution of the lessons learned from over 50 years of military boot manufacturing. The Terassault® T1 bottom platform has been developed to provide utmost traction and stability in almost any environment and improved shock attenuation over traditional mil-spec boots.

• Stitched toe and heel tabs to minimize risk of bottom separation. These are the areas of a boot most prone to begin to separate in hard wear.

31 Tattoos, hosted by Valhalla Tattoo & Southern Pines Brewing Company, is a charity fundraising event honoring the 31 Americans who lost their lives on the night of August 6, 2011 when their Chinook was shot down in Afghanistan. This is the 5th year that Valhalla Tattoo has hosted this memorial event. All proceeds raised by the event will be given to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF). SOWF is a 501C-3 nonprofit organization that supports the military’s Special Operations Forces and their families.

Quantico Tactical Thursday – The THenar by High Ready Tool

When most shooters grip the front of their rifles for CQB shooting, they “C-Clamp” their thumbs over top of their rails. This method allows the shooter to grip the rail by applying pressure with the palm and four fingers of their hand and adds pressure to the top of the rail with the muscles in the thumb.

Developed by a prior senior firearms instructor at a special operations unit, the Patent Pending THenar ® allows the shooter to improve their grip of the front of their weapon, while simultaneously indexing at a fixed point and bringing their long gun to bear with far more control than possible before.

The Thenar ® provides a hard-point located on the side of the rail which the shooter wraps their thumb over at the web. By gripping with the thumb over this nub, the user uses their Thenar Eminence, the strong muscle group in the palm at the base of the thumb. This design also allows the shooter to bring their support hand into position on the weapon in a completely repeatable position and dramatically increases grip on the weapon and control of the forend under recoil. While usable with vertical foregrips or a bare rail, the THenar® is optimized for use with the Magpul AFG. The THenar ® has been called “The missing half of the AFG”.
The exposed end of each version of the THenar ® is a QD sling swivel point, removing the sling attachment point from interference with the shooters grip on the weapon under stress. The ambidextrous Thenar® is available in Picatinny, Key-Mod, and M-Lok and is proudly made of aircraft grade aluminum just outside of MCB Quantico VA.

Duties:

Skills / Knowledge:
* Must have a proven track record of marketing success in the firearm and tactical industry.
* Must have a high level understanding of, including but not limited to, knowledge of paid search, SEO/SEM, AdWords, Google Analytics, pay-per-click (PPC), key words, display advertising, affiliate programs, email marketing, social media, print, radio, events, developing direct digital marketing tactics and create metrics to monitor/measure these relationships
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
* Must have effective vendor management and negotiations skills
* Must be an excellent communicator – both in writing and in person – with exceptional interpersonal skills

Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration
* 5+ Years experience in marketing
* 3+ Years in management positions
* A lifetime of enthusiasm for firearms and tactical gear!
* Graphic skills a plus
