Expedition Grade, Field Short with Low Profile Cargo Pockets in Technical Ripstop Nylon

Prometheus Design Werx introduces their new Delta Cargo Short TRS for Summer 2021. An expedition grade field short with low profile cargo pockets designed for rigorous and protracted adventures and exploration. Constructed in their new, 6.13oz, technical, 4-way stretch Technical Ripstop nylon with a quick-dry and DWR finish for durable wear in all terrains. A total of 13 pockets to stash and organize as little or as many EDC items as the user needs. Pocket Clip Docks™, quad no-twist custom made Delta-Rings for keychain-carabiner clip points, double reinforced seat, and a Hide-Away waistband pocket round out these shorts’ features. Produced with industrial grade triple needle stitching on all major seams and expertly made in California, USA.

The Delta Cargo Short TRS by Prometheus Design Werx will be available in Transitional Field Green, Universal Field Gray and All Terrain Brown.

The Design and R&D Team at PDW states:

“A number of years back we remember a story in National Geographic documenting an epic transect of the Amazon. This was an amazingly grueling and challenging lateral traverse of the entire Amazon by a team of scientists and explorers making their way often if not usually in, dense, tractless jungle and nameless waterways. We thought, what short would we wear if we found ourselves on a similar journey. Something that would stand the constant wear over many months if not years in soggy, rough, and utterly wild environments. We trialed numerous technical fabrics, to finally arrive at our TRS (Technical Ripstop) fabric, which would dry quickly, withstand frequent abrasion, allow plenty of movement and at the same time not be so heavy, it would be a chore to wear. We chose to add the low-profile cargo pockets to this design to cover the additional storage needs while on the go. While most of us won’t find ever ourselves transecting the Amazon, the Delta Cargo Short TRS is ideal for many of summer’s adventurous pursuits on land or in and around water. From packrafting, jungle trekking, international adventure travel, or a 30 day backpack, these shorts are built to withstand the most challenging adventures.”

The Delta Cargo Short TRS will be available for $113.00 via their website, prometheusdesignwerx.com.

AMMO, Inc. Awarded U.S. Department of Defense Contract for the Development and Manufacture of Ballistically Matched Multi-Purpose Rounds

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2021

SCOTTSDALE, AZ, June 23, 2021 — AMMO, Inc. (NASDAQ: POWW) (“AMMO” or the “Company”), a premier American ammunition and munition components manufacturer and technology leader, is pleased to announce it has been awarded a contract by the Irregular Warfare Technical Support Directorate (IWTSD), formerly the CTTSO, formed and operating under the U.S. Department of Defense, to design and manufacture multiple Ballistically Matched Multi-Purpose Rounds (BM-MPR) in support of U.S. military operations.

The BM-MPR ammunition is being developed to provide snipers with the ability to switch from standard issue match-grade ammunition to BM-MPR, without re-zeroing (or readjusting the scope on) their weapon. BM-MPRs, by design, deliver superior performance in the field against a wider variety of targets. This new, higher performing BM-MPR will be ballistically matched to current sniper match-grade ammunition, providing snipers with this seamless capability and therefore increasing lethality.

“The tactical operators being served by IWTSD and our Company on this program are the best warfighters in the world. As such, they have unique and swiftly evolving needs and this program falls squarely into that category, addressing a challenging requirement called out by DoD,” said Fred Wagenhals, AMMO’s Chairman and CEO. Mr. Wagenhals continued, noting that “our current team took over our efforts to support the US military in May 2019 – and this team’s focused and professional efforts are paying dividends for the Company and the world-class warfighters we are driven to support. They have made certain we remain creative and reactive, able to move swiftly in R&D to address unique military needs, incorporating our portfolio of products wherever applicable.”

About IWTSD

The Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations/Low-Intensity Conflict (ASD(SO/LIC)) established the Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office (CTTSO) in 1999 to consolidate its research and development programs. The research and development effort that supports the interagency Technical Support Working Group (TSWG) was the first program to transition to CTTSO. The TSWG is divided into 10 subgroups.

Section 922 of the 2017 National Defense Authorization Act directed ASD(SO/LIC) report directly to the Secretary of Defense. On November 18, 2020, the Acting Secretary of Defense authorized the ASD (SO/LIC) to transform the CTTSO to the Irregular Warfare Technical Support Directorate (IWTSD).

IWTSD’s mission is to identify and develop capabilities for DoD to conduct Irregular Warfare against all adversaries, including near-peer competitors and non-state actors, and to deliver those capabilities to DoD components and interagency partners through rapid research and development, advanced studies and technical innovation, and provision of support to U.S. military operations.

About AMMO, Inc.

With its corporate offices headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona and manufacturing operations located in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, AMMO designs and manufactures products for a variety of aptitudes, including law enforcement, military, sport shooting and self- defense. The Company was founded in 2016 with a vision to change, innovate and

invigorate the complacent munitions industry. AMMO promotes branded munitions as well as its patented STREAKTM Visual Ammunition, /stelTH/TM subsonic munitions, and armor piercing rounds for military use. For more information, please visit: www.ammo-inc.com.

Massif Clipper Windbreaker

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2021

Like a couple of Massif’s other new items, this shell’s non-FR properties are a bit of a departure from their core strength of FR, but the Clipper Windbreaker is a very welcome addition to their line.

It’s a great looking jacket with raglan-style sleeve caps and large zippered, mesh-lined pockets at either side.

The Clipper compresses very well and can be worn for preflight and stuffed into one of the pockets as it is tossed into a helmet bag before takeoff or used as a windshirt for those who haven’t been issued one. It takes up little space in a daypack so you’ve always got an extra, wind shedding layer with you.

The hood lies flat when not worn and can be adjusted via a bungee at the rear. An extra I really like are thumb loops to keep the sleeves from riding up.

Made from a DWR coated 5.7 oz nylon, it’s fine in a mist or light rain, but not for too long, as it isn’t a coated fabric nor seam sealed.

Offered in OCP and Black, this kind of takes me back to the old days of the lightweight stashable Gore-Tex suits we were issued in the late 80s and early 90s. Sure, you had to be a cool kid to get one, but if you were REALLY cool, you got a Black set.

One last thing, it’s Berry compliant.

OCP orders are restricted to military units and military personnel with a verified account.

First Special Warfare Airmen Graduate Initial Apprentice Course for Special Reconnaissance

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2021

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-CHAPMAN TRAINING ANNEX, Texas –The 352nd Special Warfare Training Squadron graduates the first wave of students from the new Special Reconnaissance Apprentice Course, June 17, 2021 at Pope Army Airfield, North Carolina.

Formerly branded as Special Operations Weather Teams (SOWTs), the SR career field recently underwent a major restructuring. While short term weather forecasting will remain in the SR’s skillset, it will no longer dominate SR’s training and mission focus.

“Today’s SR graduates are better equipped with unique training to conduct multi-domain reconnaissance and surveillance with an eye towards gaps identified in the Department of Defense’s long range reconnaissance and force projection capabilities,” said Maj. Spencer Reed, 352nd SWTS commander. “This ceremony not only celebrates the first organically trained SR Airmen in our wing, but in the U.S. Air Force. I’m incredibly proud.”

Special Reconnaissance Airmen are among the most highly trained personnel in the U.S. military. Airmen receive training in surveillance and reconnaissance, multi-domain electronic warfare, long-range precision engagement and target interdiction, small unmanned aircraft systems, preparation of the environment, personnel recovery, and advanced special tactics skills.

“The first SR Apprentice Course graduation signifies the first tangible step towards the Air Force building an increased capability,” said Senior Master Sgt.Trenton Seegmiller, Air Education and Training Command’s special reconnaissance functional manager. “It is one of many steps in a never-ending process to maintain our edge over near-peer competitors.”

The course curriculum includes collecting meteorological and environmental data- a holdover requirement from the SOWT career field, yet significantly reduced in scope. New skills added are demolition, communication and signaling, human intelligence gathering, operational preparation of the environment and tactical cyber applications.

“Previous iterations of training required multiple courses and training locations, totaling around 215 training days,” Reed said. “This new 86-day course provides an updated training syllabus with a 60% reduction in training time.”

SR Airmen train to provide global battlespace awareness and access by translating information into actionable intelligence. In the battlespace, SR Airmen are part of Special Tactics teams in sensitive, forward operating locations, focused on global strike, global access and recovery missions.

Members of the Special Warfare Training Wing provide initial training for all U.S. Air Force Special Warfare training AFSCs, to include, Combat Controllers, Pararescue, Special Reconnaissance, and Tactical Air Control Party Airmen.

Fundraiser benefits Naval Special Warfare community

Anaheim, CA (June 22, 2021) – Over 140 construction workers from a dozen companies came together in Southern California to recognize the sacrifices of military members and support their families. Rosendin’s 6th Annual Golf Tournament raised more than $200,000 for the nonprofit Navy SEAL Foundation (NSF) to provide immediate and ongoing support for the Naval Special Warfare community.

Since 2016, Rosendin’s annual industry golf outing has collected more than $1.2 million to support families of Navy SEALS and Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen (SWCC’s). The employee-owned electrical contracting company held this year’s fundraiser on May 27th at Monarch Beach Golf Links in Dana Point.

“We want to thank California’s construction industry for joining us in raising awareness and funds to support the important work of the Navy SEAL Foundation,” said David Lincoln, Senior Vice President of Rosendin’s Renewable Energy Group and NSF Committee Member. “Rosendin recognizes the incredible value Veterans bring to our community and our industry and we will continue to support them through fundraisers, volunteer efforts, and career development.”

Established in 2000, the Navy SEAL Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit benevolent organization that provides over 30 essential programs for SEALS, SWCC’s, Veterans, and their families. The organization is headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA and helps members transition to successful careers in the civilian sector.

Veterans from every branch of the military have found successful career paths at Rosendin. The company was founded in 1919 by WWI Navy Veteran Moses Rosendin, a proud U.S. citizen who grew the company by helping the country’s wartime efforts in WWII.

As the largest employee-owned electrical contractor in the United States, Rosendin’s services include design-build engineering, BIM services, special systems, and renewable energy. They work closely with the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) to offer productive career paths across all skill levels, including opportunities for those who are new to the craft.
