The Mayflower R&C by Velocity Systems Pusher Back Panel is made to augment the Pusher Chest Rig. The design provides flexibility; it can be worn with a front plate, back panel with back plate, chest rig and back panel or just the pusher chest rig. The features and accessories include a plate pocket, 2-liter water bladder pouch, small molle panel for tools or pouches, medical pouch, envelope for a breacher tool, an extendable breacher bag, front plate sleeve, helmet carrier, horizontal rear magazine pouch and a jacket stash pocket. Blue Force Gear Ten-Speed Triple M4 Mag Pouch

This is the Ten-Speed Triple M4 Mag Pouch from Blue Force Gear. When it first came out years ago, I was skeptical of its durability but I’m pleased to say that my reservations were ill-founded. Rather than losing elasticity or developing holes from wear at the corners of magazines, many of those early versions are still in service today. That’s thanks to the construction. They use a military-grade elastic combined with BFG’s ULTRAcomp laminate. Not only is it durable and low-profile but also lightweight. The Ten-Speed also incorporates their Helium Whisper attachment system which is PALS compatible.

Designed specifically for CQC (close quarters combat) and tubular assaults, the elastic keeps the magazines in place, yet right at your fingertips. There are no buckles or straps to fool with. While the pouch holds three M4 magazines (polymer or metal), it will also accommodate medical supplies, bandages, flash bangs, or other similar-sized items.

The Emergency Medical Aviator Bag (EMAB) was developed in coordination with the aviation community to meet specific operational requirements. Utilizing MATBOCK’s Ghost material, we were significantly able to reduce weight and bulk while also protecting the contents of the bag from aircraft fluid damage.

TYR Tactical Response Kits

TYR Tactical has just launched two Response Kits which are only available for purchase by law enforcement officers with valid ID.

These kits consist of plate carriers and in-conjunction hard armor plates for use over existing soft armor vests. In the case of Kit A, you’ll also get soft armor backers for the plates. Either carrier can be quickly donned when threat level increases to go beyond soft armor protection. Ample MOLLE/PALS webbing give you the ability to add additional, mission specific, pouches. The both also use TYR’s PV material which offers significant weight reduction with increased resistance to abrasion. PV has been tested to have 7-10 times higher abrasion resistance than standard mil-spec nylon. PV also enhances the ballistic attributes of armor within the vest. Antimicrobial/FR treated padded spacer mesh is used internally for comfort.

Pre-Fit Carbon Fiber Barrels and Steel Barrels for the Ruger Precision Rifle Now Available from PROOF Research

The winning combination of PROOF Research carbon fiber barrel and Ruger RPR takes 1st place for Wyatt Gibson, at 2016 MGM Ironman competition

Columbia Falls, MT (June 2016) —PROOF Research, makers of match-grade stainless steel barrels, and carbon-fiber composite barrels that deliver extreme accuracy, durability and up to a 50% weight reduction, are now offering barrels for the popular Ruger Precision Rifle (RPR) in two different installation configurations (Pre-Fit and Gunsmith-Friendly).

The new barrels have already been proven in competition with Wyatt Gibson using his to take 1st Place in the 2016 MGM Ironman, finishing 138 points ahead of the next-best shooter. According to Wyatt, “The PROOF Research carbon fiber barrel on my Ruger Precision Rifle made a huge difference in weight while not compromising accuracy. The un-chambered “Gunsmith-Friendly” version (available in stainless steel only) comes threaded for the RPR action with a 27-inch finish length, scaled-down M24 contour, available in a number of popular calibers, and is ready for a gunsmith to chamber, cut to length, crown, and install.

ADS Inc / Phokus Research Group / Cardiac Science – AED and Bleeding Control Pack

At Warrior East, I found out that ADS Inc, Phokus Research Group and Cardiac Science have teamed up to offer an AED and Bleeding Control Pack solution for wall mount installation.  Not that many years ago, Automated External Defibrillators were only used by medical personnel and it was rare to find one outside of a medical facility.  Today, they are more sophisticated and found everywhere.  They are used to restart the heart after a sudden cardiac arrest which can strike those with a variety of conditions.

Unfortunately, mass casualty events such as mass shootings have become more common over the past few years so it seems obvious to combine a Cardiac Science AED with Phokus Research Group’s bleeding control packs.

In addition to the Cardiac Science AED, the box also contains a kit filled with Individual Bleeding Control Kits consisting of Quickclot dressing, Tourniquet, Z-fold sterile frog gauze, chest seals, medical frog tape, nitrile gloves and a rescue blanket. What’s more, the wall mounted boxes can be alarmed to alert medical and security personnel when they are used.
