This jacket is packed with features but the real story is in the fabric. Their AirLoft technology combines Toray’s new 3DeFX+ hollow-core, 360-degree stretch insulation with Primeflex 4-way stretch, weather-resistant exterior fabric.
The creators tout it as temperature regulating, breathable, stain-proof, water resistant, durable, packable, and versatile. Here, they compare it to other popular insulation pieces.

Virtual Warfighter Expo – Beyond Launches A7 Fereday Jacket
Tuesday, October 6th, 2020Today, Beyond launched their new A7 Fereday Jacket at Virtual Warfighter. Designed to work with armor systems, it is manufactured from a DWR coated nylon ripstop shell over Climashield APEX Insulation. The bolo-style jacket is cut high in the front to allow access to chest mounted kit, with a long back to cover equipment at the rear and keep the back protected from the elements. The drawstring is accessible at the chest on either side to tighten the hem of the jacket around an armor carrier.
There is also an integrated hood as well as a 2-Way center front zipper. You’ll also find adjustable wrists, a rank loop chest patch along with bicep ID patches and Cordura reinforced elbows and a mapped Cordura liner for reinforcement. Finally, the whole thing can be stuffed into an internal chest pocket.

The PR01 pays homage to, but redefines all the other styles I’ve designed and produced over the past 4 years. Beyond – Veil K2 Midweight Pullover

Made from Verso Weave fleece, the Veil is a lady’s solid choice for midweight insulation. The Verso Weave uses a circular grid pattern to create air channels and they’ve incorporated an anti microbial finish.
Additionally, they use panels of lighter fabric at the underarms and sides in combination combine with power mesh slits at the elbows to keep you from overheating when active. There’s also a hidden, zippered pocket on the right-side.
Finally, the attached hood cinches up to work as a neck gaiter.
