Saturday, October 15th, 2016ZEV Technologies Expands Operations To Washington
Friday, October 14th, 2016Oxnard, CA – October 14th 2017 – ZEV Technologies is pleased to announce the location of a new plant and business development center in the state of Washington. ZEV, in cooperation with the State of Washington and the Port of Centralia, has agreed to terms to accommodate ZEV’s expansion of assembly and distribution operations. The facility will be located at 3712 Northpark Drive, Centralia, WA 98531.
Matt Ridenour, CEO of ZEV Technologies, shared, “We are very excited about this expansion into Washington. We are focused on excellence in our product and also in our service levels. This new facility will greatly expand our manufacturing and distribution capabilities toward our goal of delivering great products very quickly to our customers”.
In addition to handling a portion of the company’s product assembly functions, the facility will also host expansion of ZEV’s Marketing and Business Development operations.
The new facility is scheduled to begin operations December 2016.

Berger was founded in 1955 and owned by Walt Berger for 45 years (Walt continues to work at Berger). In 2000, Spiveco Inc., maker of the J4 bullet jackets, purchased Berger from Walt. In 2002, Spiveco Inc. sold Berger to the Sheeks family who are the present owners. Today, under Nammo Group ownership, we join three other brands that share a strong passion and commitment to precision shooting performance.
These three brands are Lapua, Vihtavuori and SK. Every discerning rifle shooter uses the premium quality Lapua products. You also know the high quality and performance of the Vihtavuori powders. SK Ammunition is also a brand within the Nammo Group that is well-known for producing quality rimfire ammunition. The Army’s Architects Visit Polaris Product Development Center

MINNEAPOLIS (October 13, 2016) — General David Perkins, the commanding general of the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and members of his staff visited Polaris on Wednesday. Gen. Perkins received product and technology demonstrations at the company’s state-of-the-art engineering and product development center in Wyoming, Minn. The trip is part of the TRADOC commander’s broad benchmarking initiative focused on innovative businesses to identify and support best practices necessary to drive evolution of Army procurement, operations, and engagement.
“As the architect of the Army, TRADOC is tasked with envisioning the future environment so as to identify capability gaps, analyze potential solutions and then determine requirements,” said Gen. Perkins. “Our stop at Polaris is one of many that will help us gain better insight into the rapid technology development and agile supportability paradigms in commercial enterprise, including focused innovation and insertion into applications relevant for the next generation of warfare.”
“At AUSA last week, we showcased our family of ultralight, off-road military vehicles – the best of what’s available today in enhanced tactical mobility – and the tremendous advantage in tactical and strategic mobility they bring to today’s military operations,” said John Olson, PhD, vice president and general manager of Polaris Defense. “Yesterday, we were given the opportunity to fast-forward and show Gen. Perkins and his staff a glimpse at how we leverage our 60 years of off-road vehicle experience to rapidly and affordability develop, test, and deliver the technology and vehicles needed to meet – at the speed of need – the evolving, challenging demands of the nation’s warfighters in the years and decades to come.”
The Polaris Product Development Center opened in Wyoming, Minn., in April 2005. In addition to military technology and advanced vehicle development, the approximately 300,000 square foot facility houses research and development of Victory Motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles (ATV), RANGER utility vehicles, and Polaris Engines. Capabilities include world-class prototype fabrication and assembly capabilities, laboratories for structural testing, electrical development, materials engineering, and powertrain assembly and dynamometer testing. It also was one of the first facilities to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification, created by the United States Green Building Council.
Polaris Defense vehicles deliver a coveted combination of deployability, versatility and off-road mobility, forged from more than 60 years of off-road vehicle experience that is simply unmatched. Vehicles include the rugged Sportsman MV 850, the modular and nimble MRZR, and the flagship DAGOR, which expands upon the range, payload and off-road mobility of any previous tactical light off-road vehicle. The enhanced tactical mobility provided by Polaris Defense gives an advantage back to dismounted troops, allowing formations to move faster, carry more and significantly reduce combat fatigue. Chuck Norris Launches Bottled Water Brand Called CFORCE

Billed as a ‘Force of Nature’, new CFORCE from Chuck Norris is bottled right on his Lone Wolf Ranch in Navasota, TX. As you can imagine, if Chuck Norris is involved it’s not going to come from some boring tap in a factory. On no; according to the webiste, ‘doesn’t flow from the ground; it bursts from an artesian spring with the same unharnessed power and intensity you’d expect from Chuck Norris’ roundhouse kick.’ Pretty awesome.
Please note, a portion of CFORCE sales benefit environmental initiatives and KICKSTART KIDS—a charity that empowers at-risk youth. The Norris family has supported these causes for more than 25 years.

IWI US Going Full-Auto (and Semi) at Third Annual Texas Firearms Festival
Saturday, October 8th, 2016Harrisburg, Pa. (October 2016) – IWI US, Inc., a subsidiary of Israel Weapon Industries (IWI) Ltd., invites all who love the smell of gunpowder, sight of hot steel and the thrill of firing full-auto to test out the full arsenal of IWI US firearms at the 2016 Texas Firearms Festival. The festival will be held at the Best of the West Shooting Range in Liberty Hill, Texas, Oct. 15-16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

IWI US will be located in shooting bay 4 and staffed by knowledgeable company personnel from their Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, headquarters.
In its third year, the unique Festival provides a welcoming environment for all experience levels in the world of firearms – from the proficient hunter, to the hesitant homeowner seeking more information and familiarity. All tickets can be purchased online.
The Texas State Rifle Association, one of the event sponsors, will host educational and learn-to-shoot classes for beginners on both days. Individuals have the opportunity to purchase tickets that allow them to try exhibitor guns at the event, under the close supervision of manufacturer representatives and training safety officers.
Those who wish to try guns at the festival should purchase “shooter tickets,” which will give them access to over 20 dedicated firearms demonstration “try and buy” bays. Both shooter and non-shooter tickets will be able to browse a retail village that showcases the best in ammo and accessories.
VIP ticket holders gain earlier access into the festival each day at 9 a.m., and can also attend a separate “Full Auto Friday” event on Oct. 14 that features automatic weapons. Individuals can purchase VIP tickets for either day or both days. In addition to earlier morning access and the features available to regular ticketholders, VIP attendees gain “Fast Pass” access to skip the line at each exhibitor bay by showing their VIP wristbands, and can access the VIP lounge to relax, utilize the complementary Wi-Fi and enjoy nonalcoholic beverages. VIP lounge guests also receive a complementary lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.
All attendees can purchase food from Austin’s finest food-truck cuisine and enjoy free parking, with preferred parking for VIP attendees on a first-come, first-serve basis. No alcoholic beverages will be served, available for purchase or allowed into the event for any ticketholders.
Festival CEO Michelle Felkins emphasized that Festival organizers take no shortcuts when it comes to safety.
“We have always placed safety first at this festival, not just during the event itself, but in the mandatory training we require of our on-site safety officers, vendors and exhibitors before the festival,” said Felkins, citing their impeccable safety record over the last two years of the festival’s history.
Felkins reminds prospective attendees that all licensed gun owners who bring their firearms must keep them holstered at all times.
“We have a zero tolerance policy for attendees who don’t keep their firearms holstered,” she said.

NW Shooting Sports Expo becomes TRIGGRCON – Tactical Research Innovation Guns and Gear Review Convention
Friday, October 7th, 2016After the hugely successful inaugural year of the NWSSE with 4000 registered attendees and nearly 80 vendors, the most frequently asked question was about its future.
With all of the positive feedback we received during the show, we’re not at all surprised that all of the vendors we’ve contacted that were in attendance this year have already recommitted for 2017 such as; Mega Arms, Vortex Optics, Falkor Defense, Agency Arms, Battle Arms, Noveske to name a few. We will also be welcoming AXTS Weapons, Phase 5 and many new participating manufacturers for 2017.
We will be changing the name from NWSSE to TRIGGRCON (Tactical Research Innovation Guns and Gear Review Convention) to better reflect the atmosphere and purpose of the event. TRIGGRCON is an exclusive selection of the top, innovative small arms companies and auxiliary manufacturers showcasing their new products and accessories. Manufacturer selection will be by invitation only and limited to an intimate number not to exceed 150 companies. There will be a media range day for live fire demonstrations and show times that are reserved strictly for media. TRIGGRCON is also open to the general public during all other show times so enthusiasts can have direct access to the elite manufacturers that participate in the show.
For 2017 and its immediate future, the convention location will be in Tacoma Washington. However, we are exploring possibilities for other cities for possible expansion.
