Paladin33 Launches the Skywalker 1lb 11oz Ultralight Discreet Rifle Case

Thursday, August 10th, 2023

Bend, OR – Paladin33, innovator in tactical nylon, announces the Skywalker discreet rifle case.

The Skywalker was born out of a need to discreetly carry rifles without looking tactical.

This was achieved by deviating from traditional zippered rifle bag designs and opting for a sleek roll top design that looks more like an outdoor industry product than a tactical rifle case.

There are two fabric options available. One is 500D DWR treated cordura and the other is X-PAC, both Berry compliant.

The minimalist padded design offers great protection impact and weather protection and weighs only 1lb 11oz.

The main roll top compartment offers  quick and silent access to your rifle. There’s no inner velcro straps like traditional rifle cases that you have to do and undo each time. G-hooks attached to the front daisy chain, compresses the bag from the outside, holding the contents tight.

The front zippered pocket has elastic pouches that can fit up to six AR10 magazines.

Offered in two sizes.

The Carbine bag fits up to 10.5” ARs.

The Rifle bag fits  up to 16” ARs.

The Skywalker is Berry-compliant and proudly cut, designed, and sewn in Bend, Oregon USA.

FN Announced Expansion of .22LR Pistol Offerings with New MRD Model

Thursday, August 10th, 2023

(McLean, VA  – August 10, 2023) Following the extremely successful launch of the optics-ready FN 502 Tactical, FN America, LLC is pleased to announce the expansion of its .22LR offerings with the all-new FN 502 MRD. The company released its first rimfire in 2021, the FN 502 Tactical, setting the bar high for future rimfire releases. However, none can best the fact that the FN 502 is the first purpose-built .22LR pistol designed for high round count training sessions while delivering maximum fun on the range.

“When we first started the development of the FN 502 platform, our goal was to up the ante for quality and versatility in a new rimfire pistol, applying our expertise in factory milled optics-ready slides, suppressor-ready barrels, and professional-quality triggers, some of the most sought after benefits in the FN 509 and FNX pistol product lines. We truly set a high bar for the industry,” said Chris Cole, Vice President of Sales for FN America, LLC. “The MRD model is the natural evolution of the FN 502 platform, allowing users to add a red dot, and make the most of the exceptional trigger. The MRD model offers another high-performance .22LR pistol for our customer base who value affordable quality in their rimfire pistols.”

The FN 502 MRD shares the same optics mounting system as the Tactical model that was inspired by the company’s patented Low-Profile Optics-Mounting System. Compatible with multiple micro red dot optics, users are able to swap out the MRD insert plates with integrated sights depending on their optic of choice, and be ready for a fun-filled range day within minutes.

The hammer-fired FN 502, with its best-in-class single-action trigger, performs like a robust-style target pistol, delivering fast, accurate rounds on target with more versatility than any other rimfire on the market. It offers superior ergonomics inspired by the grip profile of the FN 509 family of pistols and delivers the perfect balance between slide and frame along with fully ambidextrous controls.

Designed for maximum fun, FN’s hammer-fired .22 LR delivers more accuracy and versatility than any other rimfire handgun. Mounting a favorite red dot optic and cycling a wide range of .22 LR ammo makes a low-cost range day a high-end experience.

The FN 502 MRD ships with two 10-round flush-fit magazines along with the necessary plates to mount compatible micro red dot optics. Due to its similarity in muzzle and trigger guard dimensions to the FN 509, the FN 502 MRD will fit in most FN 509 holsters. Griffin Armament Announces DUAL-LOK HRT-762 Rifle Suppressors

Wednesday, August 9th, 2023

Watertown WI, Aug. 9th, 2023 –

When Griffin Armament designed the DUAL-LOK™ HRT-556™ for elite HRT units, the goal was to deliver a compact, highly durable, low flash, and top tier performing suppressor utilizing the new DUAL-LOK™ active retention system, an often demanded feature by government customers. Griffin is proud to now complete the HRT lineup with the HRT-762™. This suppressor completes the HRT lineup by providing a highly durable, low flash, 30 caliber model.

The HRT-762™ features the patent-pending DUAL-LOK™ mounting system, an accurate, robust, reliable, and wear free system with robust muzzle device support.  The suppressor was designed to have minimal flash signature, minimal POI shift, and minimal gas blowback. These attributes, coupled with maximum strength, durability, and sound performance make the HRT-762™ an unbeatable option in the .30cal suppressor market.

Baffle technology is a lightly modified version of the 4th generation Recce Suppressor baffle system. Tuned ECO-FLOW™ baffles reduce back-pressure, increasing flow, making the host firearm operating system more reliable and improving air quality in the vicinity of the operator’s face.  The patented low profile flash suppressor end cap further adds performance to the low flash baffle system.

“When we developed the HRT-556™, we brought to market a compact, heavy-duty, high-performance can built on a foundation of extensive R&D. Customers requested a .30cal version and we delivered. The HRT-762™ piggybacks off the developments of the HRT-556™ and provides the same top tier performance in a rugged .30caliber option. The HRT 7 is one of our best performing .30cal suppressors to date. I’m extremely proud of the work our team did on this project, and I’m excited to introduce this suppressor to Griffin’s DUAL-LOK™ fanbase.”

TD Inc Severe Duty Optic Clamp and Severe Duty Battery Cap for Aimpoint ACRO P2

Tuesday, August 8th, 2023

TangoDown® Inc. announces the release of two new products to enhance the Aimpoint® ACRO® P2 optic:  Severe Duty Optic Clamp (AASC-01) and Severe Duty Battery Cap (P2-CAP).

The Severe Duty Optic Clamp was designed to create a secure attachment between the optic and mount plate, which eliminates optic movement under the roughest field conditions.  Installation is quick and easy using a flat blade bit found on most multi-tools.  The AASC-01 is machined from 4130 steel and finished with zinc phosphate finish for all weather durability.

The Severe Duty Battery Cap was created to increase positive battery access with deep radiused coin slots.  When used in conjunction with the TangoDown® AALG-001/002 lens guards, the raised rim of the cap prevents impact damage to the membrane switch.  The P2-CAP is made of 6061 T6 aluminum with a satin black Type III hard coat anodize, which matches the P2 body.
