Aspetto To Unveil New Products at SHOT Show

Big news coming at SHOT Show from body armor manufacturer Aspetto. This being on the heels of their contract with DHS-Customs & Border Protection, they are expected to announce the full release of their KWIQ Plate Carrier. Co-founder Robert Davis says “The KWIQ Plate Carrier offers operators a lightweight, durable, and KWIQ releasing solution.” This new carrier has a lot of buzz especially surrounding the patented KWIQ Clip Aspetto has gathered great support from. At SHOT they will be located at Booth #960 displaying this and other armaments from their extensive protection line.

 

Vltor CASV Is Back, In M-LOK

The CASV is back, now in M-LOK. It will be made in several lengths, both with and without FSB cutouts like the famous CASV-EL. Also dropping are new CASV series absolute cowitness mounts for T1/T2, MRO, and many other popular red dots. No more finagling or modifying other mounts to try and obtain cowitness on the taller CASV piggyback rail. Black, OD green, and DUNE (FDE) anodizing are on the docket. The CASV can be run with the lower panel removed to allow the use of an underslung 40mm. Some of the CASV’s internal brackets have been modified to allow more internal clearance for suppressor bodies.

Reactor Technologies Announces The Fusion Module

For Immediate Release – Scottsdale, AZ – Reactor Technologies, pioneer in Smart Stock technology, announces the release of the Fusion Module at Shot Show 2020.

The Reactor Fusion Module allows the shooter to monitor and collect all essential data that is related to their shooting experience. With the Reactor Fusion Module, users will be able to monitor items such as shot detection, shot count, shot mapping, recoil force detection, orientation (heading, cant and inclination) and barrel temperature reading.  All of this data is logged instantaneously and in the background while coupling your GPS location and environmental data to each shot. Reactor has created a user friendly app, with data streaming  via Bluetooth that features background logging capability, a heads up display, and multiple rifle profile capabilities.

The Fusion Module is a system of technology housed in a water resistant, aluminum and hard polymer housing, that is designed to mount via M-lok between the barrel and a stock or chassis.  The onboard battery is charged via USB with battery level being reported in real time to the mobile app.  Customers looking to integrate the Fusion Module into their existing rifle system will enjoy compatibility with the Grayboe NEO and other chassis systems with M-lok equipt forends.

The Reactor Mobile App is the keystone of our Smart Stock™ system, providing our users with an integrated place to view their Fusion Module data, weather data, and supported third-party integrations.  Users will be able to have multiple rifle profiles, can export data, and cross reference point of impact trends against various atmospheric and equipment configurations. Software will be updated frequently to enable additional functionality, features, and to enhance the user experience. These updates are free for the lifetime of the product.

Vudoo Gun Works Releases V22M Magnum Action

January 15th, 2019 –St George, UT – Vudoo Gun Works, leader in rimfire precision rifles, is proud to announce the addition of the V22M action to their product lineup. Vudoo Gun Works is now offering complete builds chambered in 22 Magnum and 17 HMR.

The V22M brings longer bolt travel to accommodate the length of 22WMR and 17HMR cartridges.  This added length provided the opportunity to design a new articulated bolt release that transfers the force of bolt actuations to a plunger hidden under the scope mount. The V22M also brings added consistency with a new anti-rotation bolt head, a redesigned multi-piece bolt assembly, and our own unique 7075 machined Aluminum AICS style magazines available in five and ten shot capacities.

The new V22M bolt assembly is similar to its predecessor but offers toolless disassembly and maintenance by way of a unique bayonet style locking system between the shroud, bolt body, and bolt front.  In addition, the fire control system has also been refined to eliminate drag and therefore, provide more consistent and reliable ignition.

Accessorize with Tasmanian Tiger Pouches

Three new pouches to customize your backpack, vest, or chest rigs for greater tactical performance on the job.

Miramar, Fla. (January 2020) – Tasmanian Tiger®, a tactical nylon line of products distributed exclusively for the US market by Proforce Equipment, Inc., offers three new tactical pouches for greater modularity and customization on vests, plate carriers, or backpacks: the TT EDC Pouch, TT TAC Pouch 11, and the TT Digi Radio Pouch.

The TT TAC Pouch 11 is designed to attach to vests, medic assault packs, or chest rigs with a MOLLE snap button system (requires four MOLLE loops). The large main compartment is accessed through a centered zipper opening and features a functional divider and internal variable fixation points to store medical equipment. Lightweight, compressible, and with elastic side parts for plate carriers, the TT TAC Pouch in five-liter volume size comes in Black, Olive, Coyote, and MultiCam. Tasmanian Tiger’s TT EDC Pouch is a tactical every-day-carry MOLLE pouch with a zipper closure for knives, multi-tools, and other smaller gear. The MOLLE hook and loop panels, additional loops, and four D-rings on the outside allow for the attachment of additional gear. Inside the main compartment are a flat insert pocket and elastic loops for securing gear and a large MOLLE hook and loop patch inside. There is a secret pocket under the hook and loop patch for sensitive documents and a transparent pocket for ID or important paperwork. The TT EDC Pouch is available in Black, Olive, Coyote, MultiCam and the new MultiCam Black for $39.95 (MultiCam and MultiCam Black are $44.95).

The third new Tasmanian Tiger pouch is the TT Digi Radio Pouch, a small, folding flap radio pouch that measures 6” x 3” (15 cm x 7 cm) for digital radio devices. The pouch can attach to a vest, carrier, or a pack with two MOLLE loops using a MOLLE reverse system.  The pouch has an adjustable flap angle and a display protector, both made of vinyl. The pouch itself is made of durable CORDURA®. The TT Digi Radio Pouch comes in Black, Olive, Coyote, and MultiCam. MSRP is $24.95 (MultiCam $27.95).
