GunfightersINC is an Innovative Kydex Holster Manufacturer based in the mountain town of Leavenworth Washington. We have some large projects and dozens of new products in the pipeline and we are looking to assemble a team to help facilitate our next areas of growth.

We ask that all candidates have experience with firearms either professionally or personally. Prior military, law enforcement or competitive type shooting a big plus. Must be comfortable with private gun ownership. Candidates must be in tune with gun culture.

An interest in outdoor activities such as archery, hunting, mountaineering, skiing, backpacking or motorsports will help a candidate connect with company culture but not required.

Ecommerce Developer

We need full stack web developer to help us refine/upgrade our current website and help us launch 3-4 new e-commerce sites in the next year. We aren’t looking for someone highly degreed. We’re looking for someone who can show us hard work and tenacity with a strong track record of results. We need someone who knows how to build a site that is both fast and converts well. We would prefer this person to be on site but that is negotiable for the right candidate. We are not looking for agencies or contractors.

Product Developer

We’re looking for someone to join our engineering team to lead our new product development projects. We have concepts – do you know how to take those concepts and turn them in to a product? Ideal candidate has an Industrial Design degree and experience working with thermoplastics and composites but should be a jack of all trades and be prepared to work a on variety of projects and concepts. Sourcing and supply chain knowledge required. Project Management experience a plus.

CAD Drafter/CNC Operator

We’re looking for someone to come work with our engineering team assisting with the production and maintenance of holster molds and assist on other special projects. Experience working with Fusion360 and operating CNC routers and mills required. This is an Entry level position. At least 2 year technical degree in drafting, mechanical engineering tech, CNC or related subjects preferred.

Social Media Specialist

We’re looking for someone to manage our daily social media presence across all platforms. That includes daily postings, responding to all comments, DMs, messages, doing brand outreach with influencers, and managing organic/viral advertising campaigns.

Additionally this person will help with reputation management on relevant review sites and act as back-up for general customer service duties when call volume is high.

Proficiency with Facebook, Instagram, Mailchimp and other social tools required. Experience with social media focused photography and video work preferred.

This position requires you to be on site.

A-TACS and Tru Spec have collaborated on a new uniform offering called the A-TACS “Xtreme BDU”.

Offered in A-TACS AU-X, iX, FG-X and Ghost, Tru Spec is already taking pre-orders from retailers.

The Xtreme BDU is based on the GWOT Special Forces modified BDU/DCU, featuring Berry compliant vat dyed 50/50 NYCO ripstop.

The Xtreme top has slanted breast pockets, shoulder pockets with Velcro for unit/dept. patches and all button closers. The pants have a slimmer fit, enlarged belt loops, slanted cargo pockets and all button closers.

US Army Announces Adoption of ‘Pinks and Greens’ Dress Uniform

Today marks not only Veteran’s Day, but also the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One. Fittingly, at 1100 hours, the Army is quietly celebrating the date by internally announcing that it is adopting the iconic Greens uniform as its new service uniform.

Army Message:

To help sustain the All-Volunteer Force, we must go to the American people and inspire confidence in our Army’s professionalism and readiness. To ensure we present a professional appearance, the Army is adopting the iconic Greens uniform as its new service uniform. This is the uniform worn by America’s Greatest Generation as they won World War II. Now, America’s Next Greatest Generation will wear it as they develop into the smart, thoughtful, and innovative leaders of character outlined in the Army Vision.

SCUBAPRO Sunday – Mask Clearing and Replacing

When you are first learning how to dive. You learn basic skills in the pool before you move to open water. One of the most basic is clearing your mask. There are a couple of reasons you will have to clear your mask. It isn’t sitting right on our face, and it is leaking a little. You are diving with a group of people, and you get kicked in the face, and your mask gets knocked off. This is a skill you should always practice, especially if you have not dove in a long time. No matter how often you dive being good at the basic skills will always pay off.

This is one of the most basic skills to have, but it is also one of the most important. Let’s say you are doing a 3-hour night dive. About 15mins into it your mask starts leaking. You have to clear it every couple minutes. So you decide to change out your mask. This could be a quick thing, or if you have never practiced this, it isn’t going to help at all.

Leaking mask

After you have inhaled slightly press the top part of your mask to your forehead while blowing slowly through your nose. Tilt your head back slightly looking up while exhaling through your nose. Start to exhale thru your nose slowly. Watch for bubbles if you close to your target. The water will slowly start to leave. You don’t have to do this fast.

Flooded mask

This is just as easy as clearing a partially flooded mask. Let say you are diving in a group and someone kicks you in the face knocking your mask off. First put your mask back on, make sure that you have a good seal and there isn’t anything in its way, like part of your dive hood. Then using the same method above to clear it. Take your time. If you go to fast you will push out more air then water. So go slow and don’t waste your air. If you are really deep when you do this, there will be more pressure, making it a little harder to push the water out. Sometimes it is better to leave the mask strap off and just let the water pressure and your hand hold the mask to your face. Once you have some air in your mask then you should put your mask strap on.

If you are only able to dive a couple of times a year. Then you need to get in the water and practice your basic skills, and this is one that will help a lot. There is nothing worse than being on a night dive, and your mask won’t stop leaking, and you can’t see anything. The best way to perfect this skill is to practice it over and over again in a controlled environment like a swimming pool. The primary keys for being able to clear a flooded mask is to relax. This is the reason you had to do all those flutter kicks on the side of the pool with your mask full of water. Lastly, if you have to do a 3-hour dive and you go thru all these steps, and nothing works, well you at least get a good story out of it.

The 100th Anniversary of the End of the First World War

The Armistice ending the First World War came into effect at 11 AM Paris time on 11 November 1918 (the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month) after the allies and German powers came to an agreement at 5 AM.

While perhaps not to the same level as it was in 1918, this date is celebrated in numerous countries as Armistice or Remembrance Day. Here in the US, we observe Veteran’s Day, honoring our those who have served this great nation and the cause of liberty.

You will often notice the wearing of rememberance poppies which were inspired by the World War One-era poem, “In Flanders Field.” Although the practice was first seen in America, it is quite prevalent in the Commonwealth of Nations.

Today, I’d like to remember those young Americans who made their way in troop ships to stop aggression across the globe in the dawn of the 20th century. I’d also like to salute my fellow Veterans, they make for a very large family. May they stay safe, serve the cause of righteousness, and be ever victorious.
