Juggernaut Defense and ADI Technologies assembled a team to develp the Navigation Board solution for CTTSO to assist HALO/HAHO jumpers. By bringing together several key trainers and HAHO jumpers from the SOF community, the best ideas from several decades of high altitude-high opening navigation were applied to the design.

The Juggernaut.Board™ MFF-T2 has several key features which enable jumpers to employ the NavBoard under canopy without interfering with the many types of containers and kit loadouts.

By applying the same hinged design as the Juggernaut.Case™ Armor.Mount, the NavBoard is able to be fully folded up or down for aircraft exit and landing. While under canopy the board can be angled into view, enabling the user to manipulate Jumpmaster apps within ATAK and APASS, utilize the red-LED backlit Oceanic Compass, and view the wrist-top GPS mounted to the board.

Also integrated into the board is a CR123 powered heater-element capable of sustaining operation of the device down to -50°C for 30 minutes and a stylus-garage/tether for operating apps on the device with thick cold-weather gloves on.

Magpul – Now Shipping PMAG 10 AK/AKM MOE

Magpul is now shipping the PMAG 10 AK/AKM MOE. It is a 10-round polymer magazine designed for Kalashnikov-pattern rifles chambered in 7.62x39mm, such as the AK-47, AKM, AKS, SIG556R, and more. Like the 30-round AK/AKM MOE magazine, the PMAG 10 AK/AKM MOE features constant curve geometry, a low-friction follower, and a removable floorplate. Additionally, the PMAG 10 AK/AKM MOE magazine counts as three US compliance parts for 922r. Made in the USA.

Griffin Armament – Optimus Silencer

Griffin Armament has just announced their new Optimus Silencer. The Optimus is designed as a multi-caliber suppressor, starting off in its standard configuration as a 300 Winchester Magnum-rated suppressor. Included components such as a piston, booster assembly, and swappable endcaps, allow users to configure the Optimus for pistol and rimfire caliber rounds, as well as various rifle calibers. The Optimus Silencer is the most significant advancement in consumer silencer technology in the last decade. A truly high performance and versatile silencer, the Optimus can service any firearm from rimfire calibers up to 300 Winchester magnum.

Utilizing full 17-4 stainless construction with user adaptable components the Optimus in its full size standard configuration is a 9.4” 18.5 ounce, taper mounted 300 Winchester Magnum rated silencer.

A 7.9 inch 16 ounce 308 rated Mid Size Taper Mount configuration can be attained using the optional minimalist brake shield.

Re configuring the suppressor with the included booster assembly and piston, the Optimus transforms into a high performance, reliable, 9mm pistol silencer

The optional low profile 3 lug assembly can also be interfaced with the Optimus pistol configuration, providing secure attachment for 9mm, 556 and 300 blk out carbines.

Additionally, the user can enjoy quiet rimfire shooting by switching end caps to the included 22 caliber end cap.

After use the Optimus can be fully disassembled for cleaning by removing the patent pending Taper Lock interfaces.

The Optimus silencer transforms into multiple configurations to suit the shooters requirements on various platforms from rimfire to 300 win mag. Full spectrum versatility, in a single, durable, user serviceable silencer is now possible with the Griffin Optimus.

Warrior Assault Systems new COVERT Plate Carrier (CPC) is a low profile slick armor carrier designed to hold 10×12 SAPI style plates or 10×12 SAPI style soft armor plate backers. The CPC is fully adjustable on the shoulders for size.

The sides are made from double layer high quality Mil-Spec elastic, and incorporates 2 internal pouches on each side which can hold mag pouches and/or radio. The sides are fully adjustable for girth by way of Velcro closure. The CPC can be upgraded to create the CPC-MK1 Combo by adding Warrior’s new TVMP Triple Velcro Mag Pouch for 5.56mm mags, which attaches to the front of the carrier by means of Velcro and is then secured shut by overlapping the Velcro elements of the side elastic side sections.

The COVERT Plate Carrier is currently available in MultiCam, Coyote, and Black.

Applied Ballistics Announces Addition Of Dave Preston To Award Winning Shooting Team Roster

Cedar Springs, MI – Applied Ballistics, LLC, has announced the addition of PRS Champion Shooter, Dave Preston, to their roster of Award Winning sponsored competitive long range shooters. Dave will be joining Bryan Litz and Matthew Brousseau as a representative for the company in the 2016 Precision Rifle Series Season.

Dave’s love for shooting began at an early age, when his Grandfather gave him a Red-Ryder BB Gun; instantly hooked, Dave sought to knock down every target in sight. After some time, practice and a few hundred cartons of BB’s, he eventually graduated into a Remington 22-250, using it hunting groundhogs on summer evenings.

It was during this time Dave learned how to shoot from various improvised positions. In 2009 he took his first long distance shooting class, and within the year he was assisting in the instruction.

In 2010, Dave began competing in local PRS matches and instantly fell in love. He joined the Precision Rifle Series in 2014 and placed first in three matches, finishing third overall for the season. In 2015 he practiced more than ever and not only place first in four matches, but taking the top over all spot for the season.
