S.O.TECH is a US manufacturer of tactical gear headquartered in Carson, California. Due to continued expansion, they are currently looking for qualified individuals to fulfill two newly opened positions: Salesperson and Operations Manager. The full details can be read below:

Salesperson

Looking for an outgoing, motivated sales person with energy, fresh ideas, and perseverance. Military or law enforcement experience is a plus but not required. A love of tactical gear, gear design, and working with our nation’s heroes is a must. Experience in sales and referrals are required. Understanding of digital advertising concepts also required. Salespeople who wait for the phone to ring need not apply. Job is primarily in office, but travel to trade shows and customer sites is required.

Operations Manager

Looking for a person with experience in production operations, preferably in sewing industry. Ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills (ability to communicate and motivate) and strong numbers and financial skills (ability to establish and track metrics while monitoring throughput based on financial goals). Baseline requirements: Improves the operational efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness of the production staff. Responsible for planning, reporting, and building key metrics, as well as increasing the speed of throughput and meeting delivery dates. The ideal candidate will be able to think big while handling the details. Must be skilled with Excel and have a working knowledge of Outlook and Word. Ability to form relationships with all levels and departments within the company. Experience in the apparel industry or with cutting and sewing operations is a plus. Bilingual Spanish is also a plus.

All duties will be performed in SOTech plant in Carson, CA.

Forces Focus – Pararescue Rodeo

Thirty-four pararescuemen from active duty, guard, and Reserve recently participated in a competition hosted by the pararescue schoolhouse, Detachment 1, 342nd Training Squadron at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, on September 22nd through 27th.

The pararescuemen were split into 8 teams, and were tested on land navigation skills, high-angle rope rescues, survival techniques, medical skills, weapons operations and overall physical endurance.
