Trailblazing ahead to offer new products, Raven Concealment Systems has introduced an after-market, replacement pocket clip for the SureFire G2, P6, P2X, and G2X (most 1″ body Surefire lights). The RCS Pocket Clip orients the light bezel-down inside the pocket.

These clips are made in the USA from high-strength spring steel and include a removable O-ring for those who use the ring technique when shooting.

Please note, while these do fit most 1″ SureFire lights, it is important to note that it will not fit the Z series. These are in stock now and available for shipping. Did I mention that they are only $14.99?

Sneak Peek – ODG Helmet Cover

“Until It Hurts Prints” Now Available from Wounded Wear

Last year I was asked to spend the morning of September 11th with a friend as he fired one 7.62 round for each Navy SEAL lost since the War on Terror began 11 years before. The goal of this exercise was to create a canvas for multimedia artist Ellwood T. Risk. SOCS Dave Hall, (USN, Ret.) placed 79 shots unto the target beginning the moment the first plane hit the World Trade Center.

The result of the effort is called “Until It Hurts” and the original was auctioned off earlier this year for $17,500. Now, prints of the piece are available through Wounded Wear. We purchased a canvas print just yesterday. Get yours.

Forces Focus – 27 SOW OPFOR

Both the 1st and 27th Special Operations Wings at Hurlburt Field, Florida and Cannon AFB, New Mexico respectively have Opposing Forces elements. These small units of volunteers are provisional in nature and are taken from the Wing’s hide and situated within the Special Operations Support Squadrons. The makeup of these elements is constantly changing due to the various AFSCs represented at any given time.

In addition to providing OPFOR for in-house unit training of the Wing’s various Squadrons and for Combat Survival Continuation Training, they also provide role players for various other exercises such as isolated personnel for search and rescue. Additionally, they may be used as surrogates for troops conducting alternate insertion and extraction methods from aircraft.

In a recent AF.mil article, William Baird 27th Special Operations Support Squadron OPFOR chief explained, “No day is ever typical. Some days we are operating all-terrain vehicles and employing explosives, weapons, ammunition and threat simulators; other days we are skillfully maneuvering high-powered watercraft on the lake.”

You put out a law with which features are restricted and that’s that. But instead they have this crazy obsession where they sit around and compile and update lists.
