CLAWGEAR® OPERATOR & RAIDER ATS

CLAWGEAR® products with ATS technology are the lightest, fastest drying and most durable battle dress uniform available for professional law enforcement and military personnel. The products, utilise the CORDURA® T420HT fibre in a rip stop weave. This allows them to be 16% lighter; 4 times more breathable; 60% faster drying time when compared with conventional textiles. And with the CLAWGEAR® DARKSTONETM technology high wear areas are 60 times more durable.

CLAWGEAR® RAIDER CLASSIC

CLAWGEAR® CLASSIC products allow users with a less demanding mission profile to benefit from the similar functionality using a more conventional material. Based on the RAIDER platform, the 50% polyamide and 50% cotton features a ripstop weave in a 220GSM (6.5OPSY) weight textile. The RAIDER CLASSIC is available in male fit and from March 2024 in female fit.

Sig Sauer P365 380 Magazine Extension Now Shipping From XTech Tactical

XTech Tactical has expanded its magazine / grip extension product line for the Sig Sauer P365. The newest version is the MTX 365-380, a 10rd to 13rd magazine and grip extension for the Sig Sauer P 365 380 pistol. The kits offer the ideal ergonomic grip and 3 rounds to the magazine.

The MTX 365-380 shares the same external housing with the other XTech Tactical MTX 365 offerings, but has a custom engineering 17-7 extended spring, easy loading follower, and spring button spacer specific to the MTX 365-380. Like the factory P365 10rd magazines, the .380 kit once installed will not allow the loading of 9mm. The kits fit both 9mm and 380 magazines for use with the P365 380.

First USAF Officer Training School-Victory Graduates Take Flight

MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE, Ala. (AFNS) —

The first Officer Training School-Victory class graduated at Maxwell Air Force Base Dec. 8.

The graduation ceremony marked the historic transformation of the Department of the Air Force’s Officer Training School, setting an elevated standard for the next generation of Air and Space Force leaders. OTS-V provides a competency-based course designed to develop warrior-minded leaders of character committed to the Air Force oath, values and creed.

The new course promotes transformative change through leadership reps and sets in the affective, cognitive and behavioral learning domains. This experiential learning includes 60 hours across 28 days of challenging mission command experiences, as officer trainees lead their teams in multiple demanding environments to achieve the commander’s intent. OTS MCEs are conducted in three primary environments: a new tactical level Multi-Domain Warfighting Lab, an innovative Combined Joint Task Force Wargame and a deployed field exercise to prepare graduates to serve and lead Airmen and Guardians through volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous challenges to accomplish difficult missions.

“All of it has changed to produce a better warfighter,” said Col. Derrick J. Iwanenko, deputy OTS commandant. “For the first time, we’re a competency-based course, executing mission command experiences. Within our condensed timeline, nobody is executing the level of reps and sets we’re able to induce for the trainees through mission command.”

OTS-V incorporates a physically, intellectually and emotionally rigorous five-module approach across 60 training days. OTS will conduct, on average, 20 classes per year with a new class starting every two weeks. The additional class start dates promote flexibility for stakeholders, reduce candidates’ wait time to attend training, and allow for increased trainee throughput. At any point, OTS will have up to five classes in session in various phases of training. The new training construct allows OTS to easily surge production to meet mission requirements in both steady state and a contingency mobilization posture.

Colt CZ Group SE Acquires Traditional Czech Manufacturer of Small Caliber Ammunition Sellier & Bellott

Prague (December 18, 2023) ? Colt CZ Group SE (“Colt CZ”, the “Group” or the “Company”) hereby announces that on December 18, 2023, it executed an agreement with CBC Europe S.à r.l. (“CBC”) to purchase 100% interest in Sellier & Bellot a.s. (“Sellier & Bellot”).

Colt CZ shall acquire 100% of shares of Sellier & Bellot for the combination of the cash consideration in the amount of $350 million and a new issue of Colt CZ common stock leading to a 27–28% CBC’s stake in the share capital of Colt CZ Group post transaction. The final number of CBC shareholding in Colt CZ Group will be determined depending on the audited financial results of both companies for the year 2023. The acquisition will be financed through a combination of the Company’s existing cash resources and debt financing. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval in various countries and is expected to close in the first half of 2024.
