Originally developed for the corrections community, the large mouth of the new 10 Hook has caught the eye of a variety of users because it will accommodate up to 1″ of material.
The sheath itself offered dual retention, but the 10 Hook can be worn belt mounted with the handle along the belt line and keepers can be used to cover the handle for those who need even more retention.

I like Aku Pilgrim boots and apparently so does the Canadian Special Operations Regiment (CSOR). It’s not very often we get to see product concept drawings. This one was drawn by TNVC’s Chip Laskey back in May of 2016 for thd Mohawk Mk1. Turns out, he has a degree in Industrial Design.
On Facebook, Chip related how it all came to be. The owner of TNVC wanted a simple nylon counterweight that included storage for mission critical gear. That was the only direction. But from that, the Mohawk series was born. A few sketches and a few concepts based on Chip’s real world experience and that of his bros at TNVC, then they sent the info off to our brother at explosiveopsgear to see if they would sew them. EOG has been making some of the best counterweights available. TNVC didn’t want to compete with a bro, so they asked him to build these exclusively for TNVC and they’ve been killing it.
Coming Fall 17, the new FR Rain Jacket and Pant from Drifire is made from WL Gore’s Pyrad fabric. The Jacket features for internal pockets, a removable hood and a bias cut at the rear so that the hem overlaps the Pant. The Pant incorporates a fly, waist adjusters and lower leg openings for donning and doffing.
The design has already passed burn tests at UNC and the rain room at WL Gore.
Coming Fall 17 is the third iteration of the Down Range Jacket. It’s 600 fill but what’s interesting is that baffles are welded.
Underneath you’ll see a new fleece hoody with built in balaclava.
LBT designed the Vented Comms Pack to help overcome radio overheating. Some radios in hunmid environs have become so hot that they’ve melted fabric. The VCP features two roll down flaps with removable mesh windows. Additionally, the rear panel, constructed of HANK, can be unzipped for additional ventilation.
The zippered top flap incorporates a softshell pocket and cable routing slots. The side panels are also constructed of HANK with laser cut PALS slots. There are two antenna holsters made from softshell along each side panel. Finally, the pack can be worn alone but will fit an ALICE frame for added stability.
