The OSCAR8 HDX Variable Power Spotting Scope combines extra-low dispersion glass with high light transmittance glass, a SCHMIDT-PECHAN prism, and fully multi-coated lenses to provide unmatched resolution, image contrast, color clarity, and image brightness. Also featuring Spectracoat™ anti-reflection lens coatings to reduce surface reflections across the entire visible spectrum for superior light transmission.
The OSCAR8 has a 45-degree angled eyepiece and comes equipped with a rotating tripod collar for multiple viewing angles, a variable power eyepiece (can be locked into place or removed to accept other variable or fixed power eye-pieces), fast focus adjustment, and ergonomic rubber armor for durability to accommodate setup and built specifically for hunters and shooters that demand the best in all-weather performance and durability in the field.

PEO Soldier, Project Manager, Soldier Survivability Hails COL Bird and Bids Farewell to COL Thomas

COL Derek Bird assumed responsibility as Project Manager, Soldier Survivability (PM SSV) during a change of charter ceremony last Friday at Fort Belvoir. COL Bird previously served as Product Manager, Ground Soldier Systems (PdM GSS) earlier in his career.
PEO Soldier thanks COL Stephen Thomas for his outstanding leadership and tireless efforts as Project Manager, Soldier Survivability (PM SSV). During his tenure, COL Thomas oversaw the development and fielding of systems, equipment and clothing that improved Soldier protection and enhanced mission capabilities throughout the Army.

The Liberator IV Advanced Single Communication Headset by Tactical Command Industries offers Active Noise Reduction (ANR), Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), and Dual Mode with ANR/ANC simultaneously. The Active Noise Reduction Rating is 24 and you can configure the headset with left or right boom mic. Suspensions include over the head and behind the head.
