Friday, January 17th, 2020

Tucson, Arizona (January 15, 2020)- All new for 2020, Riton Optics is introducing a new line of optics complete with proprietary, high performance reticles and enhanced features all at the industry’s best value. The new line has been touted as the industry’s new, better way to buy optics, breaking from the normal confusion of abstract product designations with an intuitive buying guide.

As the World’s only Military and Law Enforcement Veteran Owned optics company, Riton Optics foundation was largely rooted in the tactical market. While their foundation began in the tactical realm, the founder of Riton discovered his true beginning in the outdoors as a young hunter.

Brady Speth, Founder and CEO remembers, “Growing up in a family of seven, we hunted to put food on the table and to sustain us. One of our fundamental goals at Riton has been to put quality optics in front of those who love the great sport and tradition of hunting, as well as those that live the same lifestyle that my family did.”

The all new Riton Optics Primal Series of optics is just that: a blend of high quality, affordable optics focused specifically on the needs of the hunter. The Riton Optics Primal Series includes a full line of HUNTING optics. From high performance riflescopes to magnesium alloy binoculars, the Primal Series of optics have been designed and built to meet all the demands of the hunter.

The Primal Series riflescopes include features such as capped, zero resettable turrets to ensure the end user will not lose zero in the field or on the move. Enhanced, low light coatings provide a clear picture in dawn and dusk hours, while integrated throw levers for quick adjustments. The reticles within the Primal Series riflescopes are designed for optimal field of view, while still providing indicators for hold overs and wind.

Every optic in the Primal Series is purged and sealed ensuring variation in temperature and environmental stressors will not affect the optic. These rugged built optics are 100% shockproof, waterproof and fog proof for a lifetime of optimal performance.

New for 2020, the Primal Series includes the following optics:

X1 Primal 3-9×40 Riflescope

X1 Primal 4-16×44 Riflescope

Welcome to the Red Dot Revolution: SIG SAUER Introduces the P320 RXP Series for Red Dot Accuracy Right Out-Of-The-Box

Thursday, January 16th, 2020

NEWINGTON, N.H., (January 16, 2020) – SIG SAUER, Inc. is pleased to introduce red dot accuracy right out-of-the box with the P320 RXP Series pistols. The P320 Full-Size, Compact, XFULL, and XCOMPACT RXP pistols combine the latest advancements in reflex optics with a factory installed ROMEO1PRO Reflex Optic from SIG SAUER Electro-Optics with the award-winning P320 pistol.

Red Dot optics are quickly becoming the new standard for military and law enforcement, and are rapidly growing in popularity amongst commercial consumers. Universal adoption of optic-equipped pistols are hampered by both the cost of reflex optics, as well as the added expense of slide modification and installation,” said Tom Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President, Commercial Sales, SIG SAUER, Inc. “SIG SAUER is the only manufacturer in the firearms industry that can truly integrate a firearm and an optic into an affordable single system right from the factory to practically eliminate these concerns. With the introduction of the SIG SAUER P320 RXP series of pistols we are leading the Red Dot Revolution to ensure end users can easily achieve greater performance and increased accuracy with one simple purchase.”

“Red Dot Reflex Optics have long been the standard amongst the military and law enforcement, and are rapidly growing in popularity amongst commercial consumers. The number one barrier to universal adoption of the red dot in the commercial market is the installation and zeroing of the optic on the pistol,” said Tom Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President, Commercial Sales, SIG SAUER, Inc. “SIG SAUER is the only manufacturer in the firearms industry that can truly integrate a firearm and an optic into a single system right from the factory to completely eliminate the installation hesitation of the red dot. With the introduction of the SIG SAUER P320 RXP series of pistols we are leading the Red Dot Revolution so end users can easily achieve greater performance and increased accuracy with one simple purchase.”

The P320 XFULL and XCOMPACT RXP are 9mm striker-fired pistols that come with a factory installed ROMEO1PRO Open Reflex 6MOA sight, and the XSERIES features including X-RAY3 Day/Night suppressor height backup sights, XSERIES grip module with improved ergonomics, flat trigger for a clean 90 degree break, NITRON® XSERIES Slide, and extended ambidextrous slide catch lever. The intuitive 3-point takedown of the pistol requires no trigger pull for disassembly, and safety features include a striker safety and disconnect safety. Full-size RXP pistols come with (2) 17-round or 10-round stainless steel magazines, and compact RXP pistols come with (2) 15-round magazine or 10-round stainless steel magazines. The 10-round magazines are state compliant.

The SIG SAUER Electro-Optics ROMEO1PRO featured on all RXP pistols is a miniature open reflex red dot sight, available in a 6MOA red dot on RXP pistols. It comes with 12 brightness settings for a full range of lighting conditions, and the TruHold™ Lockless Zeroing System designed to endure recoil and return to zero shot after shot. The ROMEO1PRO features a molded glass aspheric lens with high-performance coatings for superior light transmittance and zero distortion, a new upgraded point-source emitter for increased brightness in day or night conditions, MOTAC, a 20,000-hour battery life, and an IPX-7 waterproof rating. The ROMEO1PRO is housed in aircraft grade aluminum to ensure corrosion resistance. The ROMEO1PRO optic is also sold separately at sigsauer.com and retailers in 3MOA or 6MOA and includes a ruggedized steel protective shroud in the box for extreme durability.

The complete series of the SIG SAUER P320 RXP pistols will be on display at SHOT Show 2020 in the SIG SAUER Main Booth (#12240) January 21-24, 2020 at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, NV.

See The New TNVC ANVS to BNVD Cable Adapter at SHOT Show 2020 Booth #6502

Thursday, January 16th, 2020

Sands Expo Center, Las Vegas, Nevada — January 16, 2020

Tactical Night Vision Company (TNVC) is excited to introduce the new TNVC ANVS to BNVD Cable Adaptor at the 2020 NSSF SHOT Show Booth #6502. The TNVC ANVS to BNVD Cable Adapter (TNVC-ABCA) allows end users to power night vision devices equipped with a BNVS-style external power connection port such as the L3Harris BNVD-family (AN/PVS-31A, BNVD-1531) or GPNVG using ANVS remote battery packs (LPBP) or other power supplies using the Legacy LEMO connector.

As issued, Legacy ANVS power supplies are not compatible with the BNVS-style connection used on many next generation night vision devices, frustrating users with large numbers of Legacy power supplies already in inventory that cannot be used with their night vision devices. Moreover, the cost of OEM BNVS-style power supplies is often prohibitive if power supplies or cables are lost or damaged or spares are needed.

While many night vision devices have onboard battery capabilities, many end users prefer the extended battery life offered by using external power supplies with their night vision devices, especially in colder weather, while devices such as the GPNVG-18 have no onboard battery capabilities. Furthermore, moving the power supply to the back of the helmet in an external power supply can help to counterweight night vision devices mounted on the front of the helmet, improving user comfort and reducing neck strain and fatigue.

The TNVC-ABCA is also compatible with ruggedized external battery packs such as the LPBP-Ground Optimized (also available from TNVC), which allow end user to use either AA or CR123A batteries, giving them greater flexibility for powering their devices with readily available power cells, and at a much lower cost than the OEM external power supplies.

The TNVC-ABCA was developed in partnership with the OE manufacturer of the BNVS power connector, and features a durable, shielded cable and a rubberized BNVS connector housing and uses authentic OEM connectors rather than aftermarket components. The TNVC-ABCA is available in both 6” and 8” cable lengths to accommodate a wide range of helmet mounting and cable routing configurations (custom cable lengths available via special order).

The TNVC ANVS to BNVS Cable Adapter will retail for $224.95, or with the AB Night Vision LPBP-GO and TNVC Mohawk MK 2 Gen. 2 counterweight/battery pack pouch system for $549.95. Available late-Q1 2020.

Dealer and government/agency pricing available. For all product inquiries or retail or dealer sales, please contact sales@tnvc.com. For military, agency, or government sales, please contact govsales@tnvc.com

New Product From Nightforce Optics For Extreme Long Range Shooters

INTRODUCING THE WEDGE PRISM

Orofino, ID, U.S. – (January 16, 2020) Today, Nightforce Optics released a new product, the Wedge Prism. This new product was created with extreme long range (ELR) shooters in mind. Many of these shooters find that riflescopes lack the necessary elevation travel. The Wedge Prism is a clip-on accessory that mounts to a forward or continuous MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail to increase the effective elevation travel. It optically shifts the incoming image to the riflescope by a precise elevation value, which directly adds to the available elevation travel within any riflescope.

“As shooters continue to push the boundaries of what is possible for target distances, riflescopes are limited in overall adjustment for providing accurate fire,” said Alan Stilwell, Commercial Sales Manager. “Our Wedge Prism works with any riflescope to provide additional aiming offset, allowing successful and repeatable target engagements beyond what a riflescope could do with internal adjustment alone.”

The Wedge Prism provides a repeatable offset of the optical image, yet minimizes the loss of image quality, resolution and clarity. Available as a 50 MOA/14.5 MRAD or 100 MOA/29.1 MRAD variant, the shooter can choose an individual unit or combine models to tailor the amount of additional offset needed to reach their target. The quick-detach lever allows for rapid and repeatable installation and removal in the field, and by attaching to a rail prevents additional stresses on the riflescope.

“With this simple tool, a shooter can easily do the math to configure their rifle to hit their target,” Stilwell added. “For example, if my .416 Barrett requires 124 MOA of drop at 3,000 yards, but my scope will only dial up 90 MOA from zero, adding a 50 MOA Wedge Prism offsets the required dialing and only needs to be dialed up 74 MOA to reach the target and use the center aiming point of the reticle. This same principle works for .22 LRs past 300 yards, subsonic .300 Blackouts at 400 yards or when pushing any other cartridge beyond their normal limits.”

The Wedge Prism is available at $990 USD MSRP, and includes a MOLLE padded carrying case, flip-up lens cap and lens cleaning cloth. The first units will be available in February 2020. For more information on Nightforce Optics and the Wedge Prism, please visit www.nightforceoptics.com.
