The new G-Shock Mudmaster was designed specifically for use in a muddy environment. Obviously, its water resistant to 200m but they’ve also incorporated multiple gaskets on the pipes that guide buttons and shafts. Additionally, it offers their twin sensor technology for the compass and thermometer.
Granite Gear has launched an update to the VC 60 called the Crown2. It incorporates Granite Gear’s patent-pending, fully customizable RE-FIT hip belt. Conversely, the Crown2 features a fixed torso length, which is available in three torso sizes.
The Vapor-Current Mark 2 suspension system features a compression molded polypropylene frame sheet. This new system works in combination with the molded foam back panel, ventilation channels and durable laminated mesh to assist in airflow of heat and moisture, without shifting the pack’s center of gravity away from your back. The frame sheet can also be removed for further weight reduction.

Although it’s not designed as a military pack, it may be of interest to those of you loking for a lightweight pack for midrange loads up to 40 lbs or so. The colors make it an even easier choice if you don’t want to stick out one way or another; neither camo nor bright colors.
The Crown2 Short torso weighs 2 lbs, the Regular weighs 2 lbs 2 oz, and the Long weighs 2 lbs 4 oz, all without the lids attached. The Short fits torso lengths of 15-18 inches, the Regular fits torso lengths of 18-21 inches, and the Long fits torso lengths of 21-24 inches. All three torso sizes have a volume of 60 liters and retail at $199.99, in Spring 2017.
Breach-Bang-Clear is extremely proud to share that Candice Horner has joined their editorial staff as their new Director of Business Development. Horner is a former Marine, RN for the Bureau of Prisons, and an accomplished professional competitive shooter.
Horner comes to B-B-C from a former position as the Manager of OEM Sales for a major firearms manufacturer. She will continue to compete professionally, and is in fact already qualified for the 2017 3-Gun Nation Pro Series.
“I couldn’t imagine someone more suited for the job,” says David Merrill, Managing Editor of Breach-Bang-Clear, “and if I tried there would be space robots and laser swords and Kaij? involved.”
Horner served four years in the Marine Corps, working on F/A-18 engines at MCAS Iwakuni, using her GI Bill to earn a nursing degree afterward. After attending FLETC at Glynco she spent several years working as an RN at the Federal Correctional Complex in Butner, NC, eventually leaving that position to compete more regularly. She received her invitation to the 3-Gun Nation Pro Series in 2014 and has continued to compete since then. In 2015 Candice, then recently married, competed alongside new husband Daniel as a team in the Mammoth Sniper Challenge, “Extreme Tough Man Division,” and won. Her 3-Gun Nation Pro Series match was just recently televised on MAV TV.
“It’s hard not to feel awkward saying this since I’m writing about myself in the third person,” says B-B-C Chief Editor David Reeder, “but I’m happy to brag on her. Candice is smart, fierce, and motivated. Frankly I’m astonished she accepted the job – but damn am I glad to have her. It will make our eventual world conquest go a lot easier.”
Horner has previously written for Gun Up, RECOIL, Concealment, and OFFGRID, and will be assisting in B-B-C operations will continue to freelance on the side.

You may have went to the theater to watch the new movie, “Suicide Squad”. Although it’s not prominently featured in the movie, you may have noticed an interesting camouflage pattern worn by the SEALs. Referred to as Bravoflauge, it was reportedly created by combining four different existing patterns.
