When I was stationed in Hawaii I bought a pair of Keen slippaz with a capped big toe. They were great; I didn’t need to worry about stubbing my toe while walking around the yard. Apparently, when we PCSed to Kirtland AFB, I tossed them out. I had forgotten all about them until I ran across these.

Camelback showed their new Mil Spec Quick Stow Flask. It’s collapsible one-piece construction features a screw on lid with an adjustable flow rate, integrated bite valve.
Originally in their commercial line, Camelbak changed the flask film, which gives it this more subdued, Dark Grey hue.

Based on the original Mountain Trainer Leather, the new Salewa Mountain Trooper is an all Black, leather lined boot exclusive to a North America.
It integrates a full grain leather upper, reinforced rubber toe rand, Vibram outsole, heavy duty lacing, and their 3F heel support system. This boot is a sales sample. The production version which will land soon, feature metal lacing at the top, rather than plastic eyelets.
I’ve been a big fan of Luci Lights’ solar charged, inflatable lanterns for years. We keep a few in our hurricane kit and always have one or more on camping trips.
